Our guide, Marta, was excellent. She was knowledgeable, interesting, humorous and shared her Italian history and culture passionately. She was also caring and considerate towards the people on the tour. The walking was gentle and the tour provided a good oversight into Lucca's history and main points of interest. There were opportunities for questions and discussion. A thoroughly enjoyable tour.

We had a small group of five and it was an evening tour with Appertivo -Luca was our guide and very knowledgeable-A great way to get an overview of this amazing place. Highly recommend as a start to your visit in Lucca..

Julia was an excellent host and very knowledgeable. Ev en thought it was a rainy cold day, Julia made us feel right at home with the wine tasting and meet/cheese tray. it is a rather small vineyard, but that exactly what we were looking for. Exceedall expectations and would highly recommend.

Ellen & Giacomo were delightful & made you feel like we were neighbors & friends. The class was very informative, hands on, learning how to make pasta the traditional way. Their home is like a traditional Italian family’s precious home. Their love for cooking showed through in everything they made. It was fun to tour their farm property and experience all the ingredients they have growing on the farm. It totally exceeded my expectations and I was “blown away”. I would recommend this class to all those that want to experience a real Italian family’s cooking class. You don’t want to miss this experience.
