Reviews: Delwara Heritage and Community Walk

This is organised through the NGO Seva Mandir, working to improve communities in villages around Udaipur. We had a very nice wander through the village with Himmat who also lives in Delwara. It was fascinating to see a rural working village and Himmat made it very interesting, and answered all our questions. Several women are employed in the workshop making a variety of lovely garments and furnishings and I loved that their young children were happily playing together nearby. There’s a shop selling a good selection of things made in the workshop. This trip to Delwara could be combined with a visit to Ekling Ji shiva temple, and the archeological site of Nagda, it’s an excellent easy trip outside of Udaipur.★

Fantastic tour, picked us up from our hotel, had all the tickets so we just breezed through. Full of knowledge presented in an easy manor. Made tgd ehold experience very enjoyable. The place was so beautiful and the history and traditions spellbinding, all on a beautiful sunny winter day eith a gentle breeze

The cycling tour of Udaipur was an amazing experience. I rode through charming villages, discovering new sights and moments along the way. One of the highlights was tasting local tea in the morning – it was a truly unique and refreshing experience that added a special touch to the ride.★

Reviews: Farm to Table: With a local farmer family

It did not look like the images provided. It was in a home with a manmade mudclay fire "stove". We were served so many cool home cooked items and drinks, and got to participate in making the food. We were given a tour of the farm, and also taken to a local village where we came upon many interesting things like an impressive new jain temple, a Haveli being renovated and a step well. (We were able to go to the nearby village because we had a car/driver). The guide and hosts were super welcoming and made it a very informative trip. I highly recommend this tour, even for just the cooking and farming tour.
