Puente Nuevo. Centro de Interpretación is the iconic landmark of Ronda, spanning El Tajo de Ronda and connecting the old and new towns. This 18th-century stone arch bridge stands 98m high with a 120m-deep gorge beneath it. The middle section of the bridge once served as a prison.
El Tajo de Ronda
The canyon, carved by the Guadalevín River, is approximately 100–120m deep and divides Ronda into the new town and the old town.
Bullring of the Royal Cavalry of Ronda (Bullring of Ronda)
Spain's ancient bullring (built in 1785), the birthplace of modern bullfighting rules. The arena can accommodate 5,000 people and features an attached museum displaying bullfighter artifacts. Bullfighting events are held annually from March through October.
