▲ Girona Cathedral is located in the heart of the old town, with its construction beginning in the 11th century. Originally built in Romanesque style, it was later transformed into Gothic style in the 13th century. The cathedral was completed in the 18th century and stands as one of the world's renowned Gothic cathedrals. Dominating the skyline atop nearly a hundred steps, the cathedral is famous for its nave. Its cloisters feature a Neo-Romanesque design, while the facade and main chapel showcase Catalan Baroque style. The side bell tower, constructed in the 18th century, boasts one of the widest Gothic naves in the world and serves as an iconic representation of Catalan Gothic architectural space. The cathedral's treasury houses Europe's complete tapestry of "The Creation" from the 11th-12th centuries, a truly magnificent sight.

▲ This medieval wall in the ancient city of Girona was built upon the foundations of Roman walls, with some sections dating back to the 9th century as part of the longest surviving Carolingian walls. The Walls feature numerous towers that offer panoramic views of the old town, surrounding scenic landscapes, and even distant glimpses of the Pyrenees Mountains.

▲ The Eiffel Bridge is a red iron bridge with a structure strikingly similar to the Eiffel Tower, connecting the new town with the old town.
