Then proceed to the ancient Chinese water conservancy project built by Li Bing, the governor of Shu County during the Qin Dynasty (227 BC), on the Min River—the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cross the Anlan Suspension Bridge and view the damaged Qin Yan Lou from the 2008 earthquake and the Erwang Temple commemorating Li Bing and his son across the inner Min River. Located at the foot of snow-capped mountains, the town flourished due to the Guan-Song Ancient Road, the tea-horse trade, and the Dujiangyan Irrigation System. Finally, experience the "Blue Tears" of Dujiangyan and feel the evening breeze at South Bridge. "The south wind knows my heart, carrying dreams to Dujiang."
Return to Qintai Ancient Path in Chengdu (Tonghuimen subway station) to disband the group, concluding the pleasant journey.
