Weiheyuan Scenic Area

Weiheyuan Scenic Area is located in Hongxia Village, Wuzhu Town, Weiyuan County, Dingxi City. The Weihe River originates from the Weihe Source Attraction in the Niaoshu Mountain System in the southwest of Weiyuan County, and is 50 kilometers long in Weiyuan. The entire Attraction is lush with vegetation and green grass. The scenery changes as you move. Sometimes it is surrounded by mountains and waters, with beautiful scenery, and sometimes it is steep with springs and waterfalls. It has a good natural ecological foundation.

Zheyang Mountain Tourist Scenic Area

Located on the south side of Zhang County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, Zhayang Mountain is a local natural scenic spot in Zhang County. Zhayang Mountain is steep and has deep canyons. It is a good place for climbing and visiting canyons. There are also water flows, trees, etc., and the environment is beautiful. It is a rare landscape in the arid northwest region. Coming to Zhayang Mountain for tourism, it is said to be climbing, but in fact it is more about visiting the canyon. The peak of Zhayang Mountain is on the south side, and the entrance to the Attraction is on the north side. There are two canyons in the Attraction, Dongxi and Xixi, which can lead to the depths. At present, the main landscape is concentrated in the Xixi canyon. The canyon is about 7.5 kilometers long. The first half is a well-repaired stone step road, etc., all the way to the ladder landscape. The back is mainly natural dirt roads. You can hike in the canyon. If you don't have enough physical strength, you can also ride a horse. There are many locals on the roadside who rent horses. Generally, you only play in Xixi for about 3-4 hours. If you have enough time, you can also visit the mountaintop area and Dongxi Canyon together, which takes about 1 day. Not far from the Attraction, there are some resorts and farmhouses run by locals where you can choose to stay.

Li Family Dragon Palace

Located in Miao'er Lane, Yixin Village, Nan'an Township, Longxi County, Li Family Dragon Palace was originally an ancestral shrine for the Li clan worldwide to honor their ancestors and strengthen family bonds. It became famous globally because Emperor Taizong of Tang personally inscribed the name "Li Family Dragon Palace." It is one of the important carriers and landmark buildings for studying the cultural heritage and relics of the Li clan in Longxi. In the 5th year of the Shunzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty, Li Family Dragon Palace was destroyed by war, leaving only the "Beitian Diyi Men" archway. It was rebuilt in the 1st year of the Kangxi reign. When Lü Peigao served as magistrate in the 37th year of the Kangxi reign, he hung a vertical plaque inscribed with "Yang Mi Gao" on the "Beitian Diyi Men." In the 5th year of the Tongzhi reign, Longxi City fell, and Li Family Dragon Palace suffered another disaster. It was renovated and expanded during the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. Although its scale was far from its former glory, it was still nestled among mountains and waters, with staggered halls and pavilions, offering a unique charm. In September 2003, Li Family Dragon Palace officially opened to visitors. It has since hosted over 80 Li clan organizations from home and abroad, as well as Li clan organizations from 29 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China, along with Li clan members and tourists from China and abroad who came to Longxi to sightsee and trace their roots. In 2006, Li Family Dragon Palace was successively named "Dingxi Patriotism Education Base" and "Gansu Patriotism Education Base" by the Dingxi Municipal Committee and the Gansu Provincial Committee, respectively. In 2011, the People's Government of Gansu Province declared Li Family Dragon Palace a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit. In 2013, Li Family Dragon Palace became one of the 11 core scenic spots of the Silk Road tourism belt in Gansu.

Guiqing Mountain Tourism Scenic Area

Guiqing Mountain is located in the south of Zhang County, Dingxi City. It is a famous mountain with beautiful scenery on the Loess Plateau in Longzhong. Guiqing Mountain is steep and spectacular, with dense trees, canyons and streams in the mountains. The environment is very beautiful. There are historical sites such as Zhongfeng Temple, and there are historical legends left by Jiang Wei, a general of Shu Han. You can go mountaineering and visit historical sites when you come to the Attraction. It is a famous tourist destination in eastern Gansu. Guiqing Mountain Attraction is divided into two parts, one is the peak area, and the other is the Guiqing Canyon at the foot of the mountain. Visitors can visit the canyon area first, and then climb the mountain. Climbing takes about half a day, and playing in the entire Attraction takes about half a day. In addition, tourists can also take a car directly to the top of the mountain and then go down to play, which saves time and energy. Guiqing Canyon is located at the foot of the mountain. It is deep and quiet, full of greenery and tranquil. The peak area is a mountaineering road with more than 1,800 steps. You can enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery and some temples and historical sites. In addition, there are streams and waterfalls on the mountain that flow down close to the stone walls. The environment is beautiful and suitable for photography.

Bell and Drum Tower, formerly known as Weiyuan Tower, was built in the fifth year of Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty (1053) and is located in the center of Longxi County. It has a history of more than 900 years. The building is a three-story building with cornices on all sides and a large Xieshan-style roof, which is very classical. During New Years and festivals, tourists can climb the building and overlook the whole county.
