We did not expect summer to be so busy bc kids are on their holidays and every attraction sites are packed with crowds. Our guide Mary was excellent at directing us, she is very knowledgeable about histories and events and shared valuable insights. Because of logistics and the number of tourists in the city, we ended up taking public transport (subway and buses) to bypass traffic which save us alot of walking. However, the wait times for ticketing still consumed 2 hours of our time due to heavy crowd. Our tour was supposed to end at 2pm but Mary stayed with us and completed our tour until 4:30pm so we dont feel cheated. Thank you Mary for being so patient with us. I think everyone in our group had a great time although the day felt very long mainly due to long wait at security and ticketing.

I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy and well-organized way to reach the Mutianyu Great Wall from Beijing. I chose the tour that leaves at 8:00 AM, and it's an hour and a half by bus to the wall. During the trip, our excellent guide (I think her name was Erika!) gave us lots of useful information and provided all the necessary tickets to visit the wall on our own (you have about 5 hours of free time). On the way back, the very friendly Mike accompanied us. I highly recommend this tour! Thanks for the wonderful experience 😍

The tour was great. Provided a great deal of knowledge about the palace ,it's grounds, and the surrounds. It was good to have some context and knowledge about some things, that I would certainly have missed or not known just exploring on my own. Our tour guide was great, she was friendly and easy to understand.

It was a very interesting visit to this section of the Great Wall of China. Beautiful scenery, a steep route, and an engaging Russian-speaking guide, Volodya. The only downside was the huge queues going up and down in the scorching sun; we lost a total of three hours. Perhaps because it was a weekend.

Absolutely brilliant. The tour guide is very friendly, very informative, moves fast and efficiently. Recommended but you really have to move fast because when i went there it’s summer vacation so it’s super crowded that is why the tour guide told us to move fast.
