Reviews: Gyeongju UNESCO World Heritage One Day Tour (From Busan)
Guest User2026-01-24
A perfect day trip to Gyeongju! We visited Bulguksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Yangdong Village, a traditional ancient village. Our guide, Angela, was a true fan! Angela's explanations were professional and detailed. From the history and architectural significance of Bulguksa Temple to the clan stories and folk culture of Yangdong Village, she explained everything vividly and thoroughly, allowing us to understand the ancient charm of Silla. She was also incredibly enthusiastic, proactively helping the group take group photos and individual shots, patiently finding the right angles and adjusting the lighting, resulting in amazing photos. She was thoughtful and caring throughout the trip. This journey was both culturally enriching and filled with wonderful memories. I highly recommend choosing Angela as your guide in Gyeongju!

It was cheap and there were many destinations, so I honestly didn't have high expectations, but it was surprisingly fulfilling and good. In particular, our guide, Sol, was very attentive since we were the only Koreans in the group, and at our last destination, he personally wrote a postcard and gave it to us as a gift (I was so touched. Even though the group was mostly foreigners and of various nationalities, he spoke English, Chinese, and some other foreign languages, and I wondered if such a talented guide could be haha). I don't travel that much, so I don't know, but I don't think I've ever received a gift from a travel guide haha. Anyway, it was a really good domestic trip. I usually don't go to places I've already been to, but I have to go to Busan again!!!! The cost-effectiveness was really good. It was so nice not having to go to the typical shopping mallsㅋ Ah~ But the only thing that was disappointing was lunch (it didn't suit my taste) Well, it wasn't forced and it seemed like I could have eaten anywhere, but since I didn't know where the good restaurants were, I thought it would be better to go to the recommended place and it was so delicious.... I totally recommend it except for lunch!!!!! Thank you again to the guide SOL who took such good care of me. I'll definitely contact you if I go to Busan againㅎ

Missing the bus by a twist of fate led to a tense and exciting start, but thankfully I participated in the entire trip and it was a great memory. I communicated effortlessly with our Chinese-speaking guide, Gon, a very warm and responsible Korean young man. He was always eager to help, offering to take photos, and proactively recommending good restaurants and beautiful scenery. He even gave me lovely postcards. A fantastic day trip!

The carefully selected day tour truly did not disappoint. The timing was perfect, the locations and itinerary were ideal, and the professional English and Japanese-speaking guide, Nana, combined with the Chinese-speaking guide, Zheng, was a perfect combination! I was very fortunate to have such great tour companions. Everyone—from Japan and the US—was incredibly cooperative and punctual, ensuring a joyful atmosphere throughout the trip. Guides Nana and Zheng were exceptionally professional, explaining the origins and history of each attraction in great detail, making my trip to Busan truly memorable. The highlight was lunchtime, when Nana and Zheng took everyone to a very famous seafood barbecue restaurant in Busan. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. No wonder so many celebrities and stars frequent this restaurant! Honestly, the day flew by, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Busan with Nana and Zheng again. It was so much fun! The guides were great at creating a lively atmosphere and were very helpful in taking photos, etc.

The trip includes the most picturesque viewpoints of Busan, in combination with historical context and fun facts. Visiting the UN Memorial Cementery adds a touching and meaningful sense to the whole tour. Great experience, being very pleasant and enjoyable. Brent, who was our guide, was lovely, making us feel as locals and well taken care of. PS: Lunch is at an oceanfront restaurant which offers premium high quality seafood.
