Since our flight arrived at Hanoi's Noi Bai Airport on a midday flight, which is a busy time for arriving flights, we used the VIP immigration service. In the corridor leading to immigration, we met a staff member who was waiting with a piece of paper bearing our names, and we were immediately escorted to the VIP gate. At the gate, we didn't have to wait in line and were able to complete immigration procedures very quickly. Everything was fine up to this point, but at the baggage claim carousel, our suitcases took forever to appear, and we ended up waiting for nearly 50 minutes. As a result, the benefits of using the VIP immigration service were ultimately negated.★

Here's a photo of the shop where you can pick up your ticket. It's less than 10 meters from the actual scene depicted on the back of the 20,000 Vietnamese Dong banknote; you can't drive in by car. The ancient town has a great atmosphere.

We booked this private tour and it was fun. Tour guide was professional and showed up on time and was communicative beforehand. We went to marble mountain first and he allowed time for us to take photos and even helped us to take group photos. Then we went to hoi an coconut village first. That was super fun. It wasnt as crowded as we thought and the boat riders were funny. I find hoi an ancient town to be rushed. It was packed in the main tourist area where they had lantern but you cant see anything in the dark. I dont recommend doing the lantern thing. Photo was hard to take from your mobile as it was dark. Overall it was a good experience with my friends.★
