🚌 Our one-day trip to Hallstatt & Salzburg was a comfy, scenic ride with a guide who knew everything from salt mines to Mozart’s breakfast habits (probably). Hallstatt was straight out of a fairytale—plenty of time to shop, snap pics, and pretend we lived there. Salzburg? Gorgeous, but the tour felt more like “find your own Mozart.” Lots of free time, which was fun, but I’d have loved more guided insight. Still, between the charm, the laughs, and the souvenirs I didn’t need but bought anyway, it was a delightful day. Would I go again? Absolutely—with colder weather and a thirst for Schnitzle, Sachertocht. Pictures I took are has many has my phone memory card would accept. Thanks again for the day trip! Time goes by so fast ...

Olga is a very good tour guide! Quite knowledgeable! Unfortunately, I think it's a pretty stressful program, but in one day we managed to see, feel, and understand a lot of the culture of Austria... The only drawback was the gentleman in the morning who picked us up from the hotel, who shouted and had a very bad attitude because we were a few minutes late and was also going crazy on the road... otherwise, I highly recommend her, although we would definitely like at least half an hour more in Hallstatt and an hour more in Salzburg....

It was an excellent tour! April was funny and an energetic guide and we loved the sing-along. Alex was a good driver and they made a great team. It was so neat getting to see firsthand the beloved places where it was filmed. Well worth it!

This half day tour is a great and convenient way to visit Hallstat. It is of course more expensive than taking the train or public bus+ferry to get to Hallstat, but it is certainly a time-saver. It's essentially a direct bus trip to Hallstat with a bit of commentary of interesting places that we passed and some history. Once you reached Hallstat, you will go around on your own for about 2.5 hours and the bus will come to pick up at a certain time. The 1.5 hours ride is comfortable and there's a power point at your seat if you need to charge your phone.
