This itinerary is very well-established, and while the day trip is compact, it's very fulfilling. The Stone Forest is about grandeur, the natural outlines left to the earth; Jiuxiang is about seclusion, the details sculpted by flowing water and time. The two complement each other and are indispensable. For a more relaxed experience, I recommend buying a package ticket (including cable car and boat ride), especially if you're traveling with elderly people or children—this is an expense you shouldn't skimp on. Less than an hour from the Stone Forest, the scenery changes dramatically. If the Stone Forest is a bold and unrestrained landscape painting, then Jiuxiang is a magnificent science fiction film.

This was our first family trip to Yunnan. We booked a one-day tour of Jiuxiang and Stone Forest in Kunming. It was a pure sightseeing tour with no shopping stops. Sister Yue Liang gave an excellent explanation, introducing Yunnan's unique features and sharing many places locals eat and visit. She also helped take photos throughout the trip – truly wonderful! The group lunch had fish, meat, and vegetables, which was great value for money. My family was very satisfied with the tour, and we also thanked the driver. We will definitely recommend Yue Liang's tour to others next time. Yue Liang's tour is fantastic!

A pleasant trip to Shilin Nine Towns, compared to the crowded Shilin, I prefer the scenery of Nine Towns, the cable car, the boat in the gorge, and the cool cave. The driver was very good, drove very steadily, and introduced Kunming's cultural scenery along the way.

The schedule was well managed in advance of the booking. Since the city tour was included, they asked about the places I wanted to visit and actively reflected my preferences. The driver arrived at the hotel earlier than the scheduled time for pickup, and the condition of the vehicle was excellent. Although the driver did not speak English, he made a great effort to communicate using a translation app. The scenery at 석림 was absolutely amazing. There is a lot of walking involved, so comfortable sneakers are a must. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also essential. When I mentioned that I wanted to try local food, the driver recommended a mushroom soup, which was delicious. In particular, the cheese-like dish made from cow’s milk is a must-try. Traffic congestion in Kunming is quite severe. It is better to avoid visiting the Douyin Flower Market on weekends. and consider other city attractions instead.

Awesome tour and great atmosphere out there in the cave and stone forests. Polite driver gave us useful information and tips about those locations. And on our way back he also did some recommendations regarding Kunmin’s local areas and places to visit.

A大葱~当地游规划师15368162780 were very prompt and quick with the arrangements. 司机：李Shifu 车型：红旗EQM5 arrived 10min early to pick up from hotel. Smooth and arriving to Stone Forest and meet up with our English tour guide. Very good experience and tour guide with us can converse between Mandarin and English. The tour took approx close to 3hrs. After tour, Shifu brought us to a place for lunch. Extremely nice big portions unable to finish for 2 of us. A little pricey yet worth to eat. We return back to our hotel reach around 3pm. A just nice to book private trip if solely to visit Stone Forest only. It’s perfectly suitable for us.
