Excellent choice. In the afternoon, we rode camels to our tent and stopped at the dunes for sandboarding, enjoying the fine desert sand and watching the sunset. Upon arrival, we were given tea and settled into our private tent with its own bathroom and hot shower, which was very important as it gets cold in the desert at night. We hadn't booked quad bikes, but after speaking with them, they arranged for us to return by camel and allowed us to go back by quad bike (for an additional fee). Also, since we weren't on a tour, they helped us with our return trip to Marrakech; the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly.

Ahmed was very friendly and told us a lot about the culture in Merzouga. We listened to traditional music and drank tea. We especially enjoyed the nomad camp. We would book again anytime!
