Guide Iijima was very considerate and helpful, and he kept the atmosphere lively. While transportation was a bit time-consuming, the sights we visited were well worth it. The only downside was that the afternoon we visited Ginzan Onsen wasn't snowing but rather cloudy. It would have been better to check the local weather forecast in advance and plan accordingly.

Buy a voucher here, then go to the JR counter at the designated train station (I exchanged it at Sendai Station). We will then get the actual pass. It's not difficult, very convenient.
