Getting to take part in the assembly process is great fun, getting to see the knife take shape is proper wicked! They give a very quality knife at the end and throw a chopping board in for us as well. Whilst I wouldn’t consider it a knife museum. The guy’s been making knives his whole life, the shop is very impressive. The Guys did a great job. Please note the process is quite lengthy so you may run over the timelines quoted.

Booking unreserved bus tickets from Shirakawago to Takayama through Trip.com was very convenient. No need to wait in line to buy tickets at the station; you can just queue up and board the bus on schedule. Highly recommended!
