Reviews: Fukuoka: Yufuin + Beppu Kamado Jigoku + Dazaifu Tenmangu One Day Tour [Japan Kyushu • Kannawa • English Guide • Guaranteed Departure]

The trend these days is to start with the main point, right? I just highly recommend it.😆😆 1. I was so worried because I was traveling to Japan with my mom, but the guide was kind, and it was great that they were Korean. I've been to Japan many times, but I always gave up on visiting Yufuin because it was too far. However, I finally got to visit Yufuin by taking a private bus! Honestly, trying to go to Yufuin alone gives me a headache, so it was so nice to be able to just let my brain run wild. Also, since traveling is all about taking photos, they enthusiastically took us to famous photo spots and took some great shots for us. Although it felt like an independent trip overall, thanks to them personally recommending good shops and must-try foods in each area, we were able to travel much more comfortably. And most importantly!!!!! My mom said that although she has been on many package tours, this was the first time she had met a guide who didn't try to sell her anything but showed such passion, and she was extremely satisfied!! It's usually hard to please your parents, but my mom gave it her seal of approval. I was also impressed by how they took responsibility for us right up until the very end of the itinerary...! It was truly perfect, even to the point where they shared the restaurants with the shortest wait times at Hakata Station after personally trying them out. Actually, even before coming on this trip, I recommended this bus tour to a coworker saying it looked good, and now that I've experienced it myself, I'm definitely going to highly recommend it to everyone at work!!! Thanks to this, it was a fun trip with a full stomach! Highly recommended👍

I liked that I could make a last-minute reservation the day before, so even someone who isn't the type to plan things out could participate in the tour!! Since I was traveling alone and it was my first time on a tour, I was a bit nervous and worried, but thanks to Guide Bae's kind and detailed explanations, I feel like the quality of my trip really improved!! Even though it was raining and the weather was bad on the day, he enthusiastically took photos for me and cleverly set the mood with music, so I was able to have a fun trip haha. Since I was traveling alone, I didn't dare go to Yufuin because it's far, but thanks to him, I was able to visit comfortably!! I recommend this to anyone who wants to go but feels hesitant because they are traveling alone!! + He also gives you a special list of great restaurants at the end of the tour, so I recommend it to anyone who needs restaurant information!!!

It's hassle-free and easy to explore, the tour guide is very friendly, and it's a very relaxed experience. Going by yourself would be much more convenient.
Reviews: Kyushu Relaxation Tour: Dazaifu, Nyoirinji Temple, Yufuin & Optional Scenic Train

Lina was an absolutely wonderful guide during our time in Fukuoka. She is incredibly warm, approachable, and always eager to help travellers make the most of their visit. Whether it was recommending hidden food spots, suggesting places worth exploring, or sharing practical tips about getting around, Lina went out of her way to ensure everyone had a memorable experience. Her enthusiasm for the city is infectious, and it really adds to the joy of discovering Fukuoka. One thing to note though, Lina has a charming habit of understating distances! When she says something is “about 5 minutes away,” you might want to prepare for a 10-minute walk instead. As for the optional scenic train ride that was suggested, it turned out to be not quite as scenic as we had imagined, and the ride itself was rather bumpy.

Reviews: SUNQ Pass Kyushu (All of Kyushu/Southern Kyushu/Northern Kyushu) + Shimonoseki unlimited bus ticket | SUNQ Pass

The electronic three-day pass allows you to use any three days within a five-day period, while the previous paper version was limited to three consecutive days. The electronic version offers greater flexibility, and it's very convenient if you've purchased a data plan for your phone. This trip departed from Hakata Station and returned directly to Fukuoka Airport, without backtracking. I used the SUNQPASS Kitakyushu 3-Day Pass for the entire trip, using the pass on days 2, 3, and 5. Transportation costs were my own expense on arrival, and I signed up for a day trip on day 4. The pass allows you to ride highway buses, local buses, and selected ferries for free. On day 1, upon arriving at Fukuoka Airport, I exchanged my reservation for a physical ticket at the counter. The staff will ask you to present your purchased e-ticket, but it doesn't need to be activated. To board the highway bus, you need both the physical ticket and the same-day activation ticket you presented on your mobile phone. For local buses, you board the bus through the back door to obtain a numbered ticket. When you get off at your stop, show the driver your activated ticket and place the numbered ticket in a bin. The Shimabara to Kumamoto high-speed ferry also accepts a pass. Show it to the staff at the ticket counter and they'll give you a handwritten ticket. Just hand it to the staff at the check-in counter. Our trip paid off, though not by much. However, not having to pay with coins when getting on and off the bus, and instead counting 10, 50, or 100 coins, was incredibly convenient.
