It was very far from city so better to join the tour bus if you want to see Mt. Kinabal. where is big and mostly covered with clouds. We were lucky that we could see the top of mountain in a while.

We had an amazing rafting experience near Kota Kinabalu with our family of five! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The transfer arrived right on time, and the journey was very comfortable. Our guide shared lots of interesting facts about the area and local culture along the way, which made the trip even more enjoyable. As a nice surprise, we even got to try some delicious local mangoes for free—the best mangoes we’ve ever tasted! The river rafting itself was calm, scenic, and perfect for families. We had the chance to swim in the river and even float along with the current, which was so much fun. We also learned a unique local trick for breaking stones, which made the experience even more memorable. Overall, everyone in our family had a fantastic time. Great organization, friendly staff, beautiful nature, and unforgettable memories. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu!

The Handsome Jeff Tan is a wonderful person to be our local tour guide cum chauffeur. He is knowledgeable of the places where we visited. He was energetic during the trip, capable of finding short-cut country roads when there were traffic jams at main roads. He drove for day and night without feeling tired!

The activity is exactly as described. A driver picks you up at your hotel (they contact you beforehand via WhatsApp and explain everything), and takes you to the river where you'll do the rafting. The rafting instructors are very attentive and friendly (the level of rafting is very easy, perfect for families). During the descent, you can get off the raft several times to swim and enjoy the scenery and the suspension bridge. The buffet is served at the end of the river trip, offering fresh water, noodles, white rice, meat, and fish (quite a variety considering it's not a restaurant). In short, a simple activity that delivers what you'd expect, recommended for a pleasant morning.
