South Bank Parklands
South Bank Parklands is located on the south bank of the Brisbane River, facing the city center across the river. The Wheel of Brisbane
The Brisbane Ferris Wheel is located in the South Bank Park, the heart of Brisbane leisure and entertainment. It is about 60 meters high and is a major landmark here. Brisbane City Hall is the seat of the Brisbane City Council and one of the city's most recognizable historic buildings. Because it cost nearly one million pounds to build at the time, it has long been known as the Million Pound Town Hall. Koalas are very cute, and you can take photos with them for an extra 35 AUD. However, you can't hold them. Kangaroos are very quiet and you can approach and pet them. The sheepdogs' herding show is quite good.

The lookout is very close to the Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens. You can take a bus from downtown Brisbane to the botanical gardens, and then take a shuttle bus from the botanical gardens to the lookout. You can overlook the entire city and have a cup of coffee there.

It is a very nice place to chill around, especially on the weekend. There are also restaurants by the river where you could grab a drink and enjoy your day.

In fact, the most beautiful scenery is the Ferris wheel itself. The Ferris wheel is very eye-catching at night, especially the huge three-dimensional letters "BRISBANE" under the Ferris wheel. It is really a popular photo spot. It is recommended not to go there during the day because almost every letter is covered with people 😂. There are fewer people at night.

▪️It is strongly recommended to buy tickets online, otherwise it is nearly half the price if you buy on site, and the tickets are issued quickly and exchanged very conveniently.

The square is very large, but there are not many tourists, which gives the square a refreshing and relaxing atmosphere. There is also a large pavilion in the square. Its roof has modern elements, giving people a novel feeling.
