Basilica of Bom Jesus was built in 1605 and is a typical example of Baroque architecture, housing the remains of the great historical missionary St. Francis. The tomb of St. Francis is located on the right, and the casket containing his remains is made of pure silver. It's important to note that many of the recreational facilities in Palolem Beach only open in November.
