Jeonju Hanok Village is located in the area of Pongnam-dong and Gyodong, Jeonju City, and gathers more than 800 traditional Korean houses. Jeonju Hanok Village, hidden in the ever-changing modern city, is famous for its traditional appearance that has been preserved to this day. The traditional beauty of Jeonju Hanok Village is especially reflected in the curve of the eaves of the Hanok. The corners of the eaves facing the sky are not only the characteristic of Hanok, but also the charm of Korean dance. Hanok is roughly divided into two parts: the back room and the guest room. Another feature of hanok is the Ondol room. Korean people's living customs and sitting culture are connected, so there are ondol in the home. Light a fire in the stove outside the room, and the whole room will be warmed. Warm in winter and cool in summer are the characteristics of heated kang. There is also a Hanok Experience Hall in the Hanok Village. Visitors can experience the feeling of traditional Korean Ondol in the boudoir and study room. In addition, the experience hall also provides traditional Korean food served in the "Naqing Yogi", which adds color to the experience of traditional Korean charm. In the Jeonju Hanok Village, you can not only experience the traditional Korean life, but also eat the famous Jeonju bibimbap. The Hanok Life Experience Hall is divided into the main hall and the side house, which fully reflects the traditional architectural style and atmosphere of Korea. The partial house is called Duoqing Building, which has a hall and 10 rooms.Jeonju · 829m from downtown

Traveling to Jeonju in January felt like stepping into a living painting. As the snow gently covered the rooftops of Jeonju Hanok Village, the entire town transformed into something quietly magical—soft, white, and timeless. The cold winter air only made the experience more special, especially when I stayed in a traditional hanok house. Sleeping on warm ondol floors while snow fell outside the wooden windows was an unforgettable contrast of comfort and serenity. One of the highlights was renting a hanbok and walking through the village while snowflakes fell around me. The colorful fabric against the white snow created the most beautiful photos—every corner felt cinematic, like a historical drama brought to life. Compared to Seoul, hanbok rental here is more affordable, less crowded, and much more authentic, allowing you to truly enjoy the moment without rushing.Jeonju is not just a destination, it’s a feeling—calm, nostalgic, and deeply cultural. If you’re visiting Korea, I highly recommend coming here, especially in winter. Stay in a traditional house, wear a hanbok, walk slowly, and let Jeonju tell you its story. It’s a place that stays with your heart long after the snow melts. ❄️✨

When I lived in Jeonju, I used to go there often because it was close by. The facilities are old, but my child really liked it. The facilities aren't great, but it's cheap, so it's a place where you can go for a good price-to-performance ratio. ^^ I believe it will get better because they're doing a lot of construction. I hope it'll get better the next time I visit.

Opposite the Gyeonggijeon is the Jeondong Cathedral, a modern building completed in 1914. Known as "the largest and oldest historical building in North and South Jeolla Province", it is a must-visit place for visitors to Jeonju. There are many Christians in Korea, and this church has completely preserved the original Roman architectural style, with a unique exterior and exquisite interior, attracting many tourists.

The old bridge in the middle of the lake was rebuilt and turned into a much safer and prettier Yeonhwa Bridge. You can see lotus flowers in June and July. The newly renovated children's playground looks nice too. It's good for a short walk. There's a free parking lot, so it's convenient.

Jeonju World Cup Stadium, which I often visit when watching soccer, is a place where there are many cars in the parking lot, making it difficult to get out or park. It is also difficult to access using public transportation, so it is difficult... but the food trucks are delicious, and it is always fun to go to cheer on Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors at a home soccer game!

I visited Jeju Island during my trip to South Korea. Located in southwestern South Korea, Jeju Island is the largest island in the country and its only special autonomous province. The direct flight from Guangzhou to Jeju Island takes about two and a half hours. Jeju Island is famous for its volcanic landscape and mild climate, earning it the nickname "Korea's Hawaii." In 2007, its natural landscapes, including Hallasan Mountain and lava caves, were listed as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Famous attractions on the island include Hallasan Mountain, lava caves, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, and the Olle Trails, among others.
