Jinjuseong Fortress

Jinjuseong Fortress is a city wall built beside the Namjiang River in the late Goryeo period to resist the invasion of Japanese pirates, and now it has become the city park of Jinju. At the annual Jinju Namgang River Lantern Festival, you can see the colorful lanterns flowing down the river from the castle tower of Jinju Castle.

Gyeongsangnamdo Arboretum

On April 5, 1993, Gyeongsang-do Arboretum was established for the purpose of exhibiting a variety of tree species at home and abroad, providing natural learning, academic research, preservation of genetic genes and healthy forest culture space, and changed its name to its current name in February 2000. There are more than 1,500 species and more than 100,000 plant ingredients in the whole park. It is managed by Gyeongsangnam-do Forest Environment Research Institute.

Jinju National Museum

On November 2, 1984, the Jinju National Museum opened as a "central institution for the study of Gaya culture". In 1998, it was specialised as a special institution for the Imjin Japanese Rebellion, and after two wartime adaptations in 2008 and 2018, it was renovated to its current appearance. As a museum with local people, it comprehensively researches and displays East Asian social history and culture related to the Imjin Japanese Rebellion, and conducts various activities such as museum education and events.

KAI Aero Space Museum

The Air and Space Museum opened on August 28, 2002, based on more than 2,200 exhibits at the Yeouido Comprehensive Security Exhibition Hall in Seoul in 1995. The museum is roughly divided into the Aerospace Hall, the Freedom Guardian Hall and the Field Exhibition Hall. The first floor of the Aerospace Museum is the history of the development of the aviation industry, and the second floor is the information on the future of the space industry. The Freedom Guardian Museum mainly displays relics and materials related to the Korean War, especially the car that Kim Il-sung actually rode in. There are 18 aircrafts, 3 combat vehicles and 3 artillery pieces in the field display field.
