Rainbow Street is very popular with local young people and young tourists, and there are many cafes and restaurants on both sides. The street has a relaxed atmosphere. The number of people increases as it gets late, but because it is an Islamic country, they don't drink so they don't make noise, just music, chatting, and smoking hookah.Jordan · Amman

There is an altar on the higher point of the hill on the west side of Petra, which is the place where the Nahada people hold religious sacrifices, and it is also an ideal place to overlook the whole view of Petra. The stone room for religious ceremonies is now converted into a museum, which displays relics such as pottery, sculpture, iron, copper and glass products from the Nahata and Roman times unearthed in Petra. The exhibits leave a deep impression on tourists. impression.Jordan · Petra

Dyer Abbey is located on the top of the mountain on the north side of an ancient city. In the past, it took five kilometers to walk and 1,800 steps to climb. Although it was hard, it was worth it. The monastery is the second largest building in Petra after Kazni. It is a temple or tomb carved by the Nahada people along the mountain. It was used as a monastery in the Roman and Byzantine periods, perhaps because it was a city far away from the mundane. , just meditate. For tourists, the monastery is also a great place to watch the sunrise in Petra.Jordan · Petra
Gulf of Aqaba

The Gulf of Aqaba has deep and flat waters, and the sea water is as crystal clear and deep as sapphire. Due to the influence of the warm equatorial current and sea breeze, the average water temperature in winter is above 15℃, which is suitable for various water sports. The healthy and bright coral reefs in the bay show magnificent colors, and the colorful swimming fish are interspersed with them. There are cute clownfish, Picasso tiger fish and parrotfish, and there are whale sharks that look fierce but actually feed on plankton, and a kind of An eel that lives elusively in seaweed. Take a glass-bottom boat to see the underwater world, or simply dance with the fish among the corals, which is an unexpected surprise during the trip to Jordan. Aqaba has better diving sites and clubs, and hotels by the sea also organize water entertainment. The dive site offers snorkel diving, water skiing, fishing and more, as well as rental equipment, including underwater cameras.Jordan · Aqaba

In 129 AD, in order to welcome the visit of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, the Jerash people built a majestic triumphal arch in the south of the city, named "Hadrian's Arch of Triumph", and held large-scale celebrations. Although the years have made this majestic Arc de Triomphe full of vicissitudes, its heroic appearance still remains. Each stone pillar is carved with various patterns and exquisite craftsmanship, which reflects the architectural art of the Jordanians at that time. To the left of the Arc de Triomphe is a large-scale competition field of the year. You can go in and take a look at the museum. There are models of the ancient city of Jerash and tools used in the construction of that year.Jordan · Jerash

The stone pillars on the square are now erected by modern people to set off fireworks at the annual Jerash Music Festival. The square is 90 meters long and 80 meters wide. It is paved with stone slabs arranged in concentric circles, surrounded by elegant Ionian stone columns, which stand neatly like strings of a violin. The lace, the design is quite ingenious. The columns were built in the 1st century AD, and some were added in the 7th century. This is the well-preserved column square among the existing ancient Roman monuments in the world, and it is a very magnificent scene in Jerash. Facing the square, it is reminiscent of the square in front of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican in Rome, which seems to be in the same line. In terms of scale and layout, St. Peter's Square cannot compare to Jerash's Column Square. On the hill on the west side of the square is the ruins of the temple of Zeus, now only the ruins are left.Jordan · Jerash

A beautiful building in the ancient city, the temple is dedicated to the main god of Jerash, the moon god Artemis. The temple ruins on the wide platform are the essence of the Jerash ruins, she is like a diamond in the crown. Although the temple has collapsed, the remaining walls and towering columns are enough to demonstrate the temple's prominent position in the city. There are three rows of columns in front of the temple, six in each row, 20 meters high. Each column is divided into seven sections. The head and tail are the base and the crown. These intricately carved ochre red Collins capitals are beautiful.Jordan · Jerash

The Hashemite Plaza is a plaza spread over 20,000 sq and one of the most popular spots in Amman. Located on Al-Hashemi Street, it has pretty foundations, lovely gardens, and seating facilities across the open area. With eateries, restaurants, and cafes a visit to the Hashemite Plaza is a pleasant way to spend an eveningNamed after the Jordanian Royal family, the eastern end of the plaza is one of the best places to take a stroll and enjoy the surrounding views. Also, the Amman Book Festival is conducted here each year. The Hashemite Plaza is surrounded by a couple of landmark Roman ruins. The Roman Theatre looks splendid with its 6000 seats looming on the southern side of the Hashemite Plaza. On the eastern side is Odeon, the smaller theatre. A short distance afar is Nymphaeum, the Roman public fountain. Besides, the Citadel Hill stands tall above the Hashemite Plaza and offers some great bird-eye views of it from its top.

At the end of the avenue of columns, everyone was exhausted. The next thing to face was more than 1,800 steps carved along the rock. Only by climbing these winding stone steps could we reach the "Deir Monastery" in the deepest part of Petra. Although everyone was confident, they still sat down for a short rest before continuing on the road. On the way up the mountain, sometimes we walked through narrow canyons, met two goats staring at you on the winding cliffs, sometimes looked back on the abrupt boulders, overlooking the center of the ancient city of Petra, and sometimes sat on the side of the road, watching groups of tourists from all over the world passing by. After nearly two hours of climbing, the end of the steps suddenly opened up, and the monastery appeared in front of us on the right side of the huge square. The monastery is very different from what I have in mind or what I have seen in Europe. It turns out that this is also a temple built by the Nabateans. It was only during the Roman Empire and Byzantine period that it was converted into a monastery, and then it has been passed down as a monastery. Interestingly, the bottom of the monastery is very weathered, but the higher it goes, the more intact it is. The weathering at the bottom seems to be eroded by water, but the eroded parts are not on the same plane, which is puzzling. The way down the mountain is not that difficult to walk, and there is no need to walk, rest, or look around, so the speed is much faster. It took more than an hour to reach the Khazneh Temple, while it took more than two hours to walk up the mountain.

I think this is the most worthwhile place to visit in Jordan. Akaba, also known as Yaqaba, is a small seaside town in Jordan. The Red Sea is here, and Israel is across the way. So as a foreigner, don't take photos on the road, especially at the port, otherwise the Arabs will lock you up as a spy. You must go to the Red Sea when you come to Yaqaba. Diving in the Red Sea or renting a boat to go out to sea is good. You can see airplanes and cannons underwater, which are not available in other diving places.

Harana Castle is located deep in an area that has been used for farmland. It is a church in a very old castle structure. The entire surrounding area is relatively empty. The castle is not very large, but it has a very long history and the church is also an important building.

The Oval Square is a famous building in the ancient ruins of Jerash in Jordan. It is located at the beginning of the Colonnade Street and was built in the first century AD. The square is an asymmetrical stone-paved open space, 90 meters long and 80 meters wide, used for major gatherings. Two rows of nearly 10-meter-high Roman columns are arranged on both sides, making it more imposing and expanding the visual space from all angles. There is a broken column in the center of the square, which may be the remains of some landmark.
