Blue Bay is located on the southeast coast of Mauritius, south of Mahebourg and not far from the international airport. The bay's water features distinct shades of blue, transitioning from light green near the shore to deep blue, and with its fine white sand, it is a favorite leisure spot for locals. The area is home to a wide variety of coral, including patches of fire coral, table coral, and the famous brain coral. Colorful tropical fish swim among the corals, and you may even encounter sea turtles. The lagoon is shallow and calm, with reefs outside to block the waves, so even snorkeling beginners can safely enter the water in shallow areas just a few meters deep.Pointe d'Esny · 4.3 km from Mahebourg

Pont Naturel is located on the southern coast of Mauritius and is a natural stone arch bridge made of black basalt. It is famous for its natural arch structure formed by the long-term erosion of coastal rocks by waves. The dark volcanic rock contrasts with the azure seawater, creating a unique coastal landscape in Mauritius. Waves constantly crash against the rock walls, passing through the underside and crevices of the rocks, creating layers of white spray and showcasing the powerful natural force of the Indian Ocean coast. The view here is affected by tides, wind, and sea conditions, so you may see different wave patterns and seawater colors when visiting at different times.Camp Carol · 9 km from Mahebourg

Totof Tours | Blue Bay Mauritius is a highly popular water activity in southeastern Mauritius. Departing from the public beach at Blue Bay, you will board a glass-bottom boat with transparent viewing windows in the hull and head into Blue Bay Marine Park. This sea area was designated as a protected marine park as early as the 1980s. The lagoon water is clear and shallow, with abundant coral and fish, and is considered the signature spot for snorkeling in the area. You don't need to get into the water during the trip; through the glass bottom beneath your feet, you can see reefs formed by brain coral, staghorn coral, and mushroom coral. Schools of damselfish and chromis swim among the corals, and you may even encounter hawksbill sea turtles that make their home here. The boat operator will also explain the types of coral along the way. The boat will then stop at a snorkeling spot, where you can jump into the shallow water to swim closely with the fish. Masks, snorkels, and other equipment are provided on board, and life jackets are readily available. The lagoon has small waves and shallow water, making it easy for first-time snorkelers and families traveling with children to participate.Pointe d'Esny · 4.4 km from Mahebourg

The beautiful sea and sky scenery and abundant water sports are particularly attractive. The island environment Ludao has a beautiful lagoon, the water is wide and calm, and the sandy beach is white and delicate. It is named after deer wading across the bay. The island has beautiful scenery, coconut trees and a plant called Filaos, and it is famous for a shoal. Deer Island is not big, surrounded by black reefs and covered with lush plants. Famous for its shallows, non-swimmers can walk a few hundred meters at low tide from Kashima to its neighboring eastern island without worrying about being flooded. Instructions for visiting the island and water sports You can apply for a local day trip to Ludao, you can consult at the hotel, usually starting from Calm Bay. It takes about 20 minutes to arrive at Kashima by boat, where you can do whatever you want and enjoy various marine sports, such as windsurfing, speed boat, glass bottom, water paragliding, diving, fishing, surfing and banana boat. Of course, the main thing is to come here to swim and enjoy the sun and sand. Other Projects Small Deer Island also has an 18-hole golf course and two restaurants. Chamarel Seven Colored Earth Geopark

Chamarel Seven Colored Earth Geopark is located in the Black River District near Chamarel in southwestern Mauritius. It is a rare natural colored sand dune. The debris and volcanic ash left by ancient volcanic activity have weathered over many years in the hot, humid climate. The iron, aluminum, and other minerals they contain have oxidized in varying proportions, gradually creating layers of red, brown, purple, blue, and green bands. These bands spread out along the undulating hills, resembling, from a distance, a piece of colorful silk wrinkled by the wind, cascading down from the lush forest. The sand dune area is small and enclosed by railings and boardwalks. Visitors can walk along the viewing platforms to look down. From different angles, they can see the subtle changes in the direction and intensity of the color bands, which are especially distinct when sunlight shines obliquely. The sand dunes themselves are barren, forming a sharp contrast with the surrounding lush vegetation and adding a touch of mystery.Chamarel · 34.6 km from Mahebourg

Mauritius is an island formed by volcanic eruptions. The Ludong crater in the central plateau is located on a dormant volcano. The crater is cone-shaped. It is a representative scenic spot in Mauritius, and it is also the origin of Mauritius. The volcano on the sea is this one. The environment on the mountain is due to the dormant state of the volcano. Today, the crater is full of houses and overgrown with plants. Plants like a green carpet make the quiet volcano come alive. Going to the scenic crater along the way is about 600 meters above sea level. If you want to see the face of the crater, you can charter a car. Along the way, the car will follow the undulating road, enter a quiet and rich residential area, and then drive up a steep slope. , stop in the parking lot, and then need to hike a steep road to the top of the crater. Mountaineering Landscape There will be pavilions, benches and well-tended lawns along the roadside during the climb, all of which are used by tourists to rest and have a picnic here. If you are climbing in the afternoon, you can also enjoy a wonderful romantic sunset time. After climbing the steep mountain road to the top, you can enjoy the scenery around the volcano. The surrounding rolling mountains and green grasslands are full of beauty. There are railings at the top of the mountain top view, you can hold the railings with your hands, and you can clearly see that the crater is well preserved. The crater has been clogged with years of rain and silt. During the rainy season, a small pool forms at the bottom of the crater, and when the weather is sunny, the crater dries up. It can be seen that there are dense thorny shrubs and forests growing on the four walls of the crater, and the rich vegetation makes the extinct volcano appear green with life. If it is not for the introduction of the guide, you may not really see that this is the volcano that once erupted violently. There used to be deer here, so it was called "Deer Cave", but now there are so many tourists that the deer are scared away. Standing on a high point viewing the crater, you can take pictures and look at the surrounding beauty. After that, you can walk down from the heights, and there is a path around the crater to the right. Walking on the path overlooks the central plains of Mauritius. Walking on the path, there are hawkers buying local souvenirs on the side of the road. You can enjoy the local souvenirs in the hands of the hawkers while watching the scenery. Turning to the other side of the crater along the path, it is still that silent and speechless. The place where lava spewed and roared in ancient times is now covered in lush vegetation. The crater also has an inward natural vertical water curtain, and the silver-white waterfall hangs in the green crater, which is very poetic. There are also some beautiful houses and gardens around the crater to visit. After the visit, you can also go to the town to experience the way of life of the local residents and appreciate their folk culture.Curepipe · 22.3 km from Mahebourg

The park is home to the world's largest population of Aldabra giant tortoises, up to 1,500. Since the tortoises in Mauritius were hunted to extinction by humans, the current tortoises are all introduced from Seychelles. Learn about the history of the Mauritian tortoise and other reptiles and the dodo through the Reptile Museum in the tortoise park. The Crocodile Park, located in the mountains and forests, was established in 1985 and is located in a nature reserve in the southern part of the Mauritius island, with a lush tropical rainforest landscape. In addition to tortoises and more than 2,000 crocodiles, the wonderful and colorful museum also houses Mauritian fruit bats, monkeys, iguanas, bats, deer, geckos, eels, wild boars, etc. There are also an insect museum with a collection of 23,000 species and a fossil museum of "hundreds of millions of years under the sea" in the park. It is said that the entomological museum is filled with the private collection of a French entomologist. In the museum, visitors can see all kinds of strange insects, some of which are the size of a human face. Take a close photo with animals The tortoises here can even carry people slowly forward. In addition, visitors can also get close contact with a kind of bat that loves to eat mangoes - fruit bat. Those furry little guys are not afraid of people and can hang upside down in front of tourists for their pictures. Want to take a photo with a baby crocodile? Here the wishes of tourists can be realized. There is a photo booth at the entrance of the park. Visitors can take pictures of the little crocodile. The staff will also use the PS software to remove the leather rope P on the mouth of the little crocodile. The cost is about 400 rupees. There are fast food restaurants in the park, and crocodile meat is sold. Crocodile leather goods can also be purchased at the entrance.Riviere des Anguilles · 17.9 km from Mahebourg

It is also called "Blue Bay" because of its clear blue water. It is about 600 meters long and is a wide beach in Kenting National Park. There are many water activities, including sailing, jet skiing, banana boats, surfing, and other recreational projects. You can also play beach volleyball with friends. It is a famous diving resort. There are various corals, tropical fish, shellfish, sea lilies, etc. along the coast, and the underwater landscape is extremely beautiful.

The Natural Bridge is a natural attraction in Mauritius. There is no bus to reach it. The scenery of this attraction is spectacular, and you can see beautiful waves. You can walk on the Natural Bridge, but you have to walk slowly because the road surface is uneven.

There are abundant coral reefs and various marine fish under the sea in Blue Bay, Mauritius. It has always been a diving paradise. You can dive on your own or take a snorkeling trip on a glass-bottomed boat. For those who are afraid of diving, you can also enjoy the beautiful underwater world. This is a very good choice. You can give it a try.

We had such a lovely day at Île aux Cerfs! 🌴☀️ It was exactly what we needed — a day to slow down, relax and enjoy the beauty of Mauritius. The boat trip, crystal-clear water and beautiful beaches made the whole experience really special. We spent the day swimming, relaxing and just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere without rushing anywhere. It was one of those days where you can completely switch off and enjoy the moment. Definitely a memorable part of our time in Mauritius, and I would happily do it again! ❤️

The volcanic terrain of Mauritius has created a natural landscape with a low mountain but strange shapes. The seven-colored soil in Chamarel was discovered by a Frenchman who was planting sugarcane fields here. Among the sugarcane fields here, only this piece of land is barren. After geologists went there to develop and study, this magical and magnificent seven-colored soil was revealed to the world.

This place is a bit like a botanical garden + a zoo. The plant part is actually that the entire park is built against the mountain, and many paths are in dense tropical trees and bamboo forests. The environment is very good, allowing you to be in a completely natural environment.

Black River Gorges National Park is a very important national park in Mauritius. I came here during the rainy season. Although we couldn’t see far away, it had a different kind of hazy beauty. Because of the rain, there were fewer tourists and the entire national park was our world.
