Gorodskoy Park Flory I Fauny Royev Ruchey is one of the largest comprehensive zoological and botanical gardens in Russia, located adjacent to the Krasnoyarsk "Stolby" Nature Sanctuary and Bobrovy Log Ski Park, situated at the intersection of the city and nature. The park's name is derived from a nearby stream that was a source of gold in the 19th century. The animal collection includes over 9,000 animals across more than 730 species, including 350 internationally endangered species. It ranks second among Russian zoos in terms of collection size and features the only penguin house east of the Urals. The park also features a large tropical aquarium covering approx. 300 square meters with a total water capacity of 180 tons, showcasing marine life from around the world. In summer, a petting zoo is available, allowing children to interact closely with farm animals. From late spring to fall, it hosts light and water shows every evening when the lights come on, making it one of the most iconic nighttime views in Krasnoyarsk.
