Springbrook National Park

Springbrook National Park is located in the mountain rainforests of the Gold Coast hinterland. The plateau, shaped by ancient volcanic activity, has been deeply carved by streams into layers of cliffs and canyons, creating a lush, green landscape. Most waterfalls and lookouts are accessible via short trails. The park consists of several areas, with the Springbrook Plateau and Natural Bridge being the most popular. Visitors can enjoy waterfalls and cliffs during the day, and see the starlike glowworms in the caves at night—each offering its own unique experience. Natural Bridge, Springbrook National Park, is the signature attraction here: years of erosion by stream water have hollowed out the mountain, and now the stream pours through a circular hole in the cave ceiling, weaving a curtain of water inside. A natural stone bridge remains where the cave roof collapsed. You can see the waterfall passing through the cave by following the approximately 1 km loop trail. After dark, the cave ceiling lights up with patches of blue-green glow—these are the bioluminescent larvae commonly known as glowworms. They are actually the larvae of a type of fungus gnat, and their cold tail light is used to lure prey. When gathered in large numbers, they look like a starry sky hanging overhead. They glow every night throughout the year, though their light is dimmer during the dry winter and spring seasons and exceptionally bright during the hot, humid, and rainy seasons. On humid summer nights, you might occasionally spot glowing mushrooms along the trail, and sometimes even fireflies. Please turn off flashlights and camera flashes when viewing, as direct bright light will cause the colony to "turn off" instantly. Please stay on the trail, and do not enter the water in the cave area. After walking out of the cave, don't forget to look up; the stars in the mountain night sky are equally moving. The plateau area is home to most of the lookouts and waterfalls: the Canyon Lookout is just a few steps from the road, offering a view of Twin Falls and Rainbow Falls as they tumble over the cliff edge into the deep valley. The ambitiously named Best of All Lookout requires a walk through a forest of ancient Antarctic beech trees that are thousands of years old; on a clear day, you can see Mount Warning in New South Wales in the distance. Purling Brook Falls, with a drop of nearly 100 m, is the park's iconic waterfall. The loop trail allows you to descend to the valley floor, where you can stand on a suspension bridge and look up at the entire water curtain, which is especially spectacular when the water volume is high after rain. The Twin Falls circuit allows you to walk directly behind the waterfall.Springbrook · 5.1 km from Natural Bridge

Gold Coast beach stretches for approx. 70 km, and its golden sand is a hallmark of this coastline, which is how it got the name Gold Coast. The sand is fine and glows with a warm golden luster in the sunlight, while the water transitions from a shallow turquoise near the shore to a deep blue in the distance, creating distinct layers. The beach features several distinct sections along its length, with a lively atmosphere in the north and a relatively quieter vibe in the south, catering to visitors with different preferences. Surfing is a signature, long-standing experience at this beach. The coastline boasts several famous surf breaks, including the Superbank near Snapper Rocks, which is known for producing long, hollow waves that attract a large number of surfers year-round. Surf lifesavers patrol the beach, and red and yellow flags mark safe swimming areas. A coastal walkway connects the various beach sections, making it a great way to explore by walking or cycling. The beach enjoys abundant sunshine and a mild climate year-round, with different sections catering to various needs.Surfers Paradise · 30.7 km from Natural Bridge

Full explanation. In areas where there are few boats, children can also sit in the driving seat and be the helmsman with the help of the captain. A natural bridge located in Spring Creek National Park, next to the road of Nejean-Mervilumba, a 1-kilometer circular trail leads to a huge stone arch, which is a huge pit formed by the action of water flow. Here live the precious earth fireflies in Australia. 1. It takes 1 hour by car to reach the Natural Bridge Park at the junction of NSW states, where the glowing worms live. This kind of worm is called Clow-worm in English. It is similar to mosquitoes and has a life span of only 1 to 5 days. Both males and females have a light-emitting organ at the top of their tails, which can emit blue-white light. Only a few places in the world have New Zealand and Australia. They gather at the top of the cave, like a starry night sky. When people saw him before, they were exclaimed as one of the eight wonders of the world. 2. Visit the beautiful scenery Walk for 10 minutes from the parking lot of NaturalBridge Park, there is a waterfall, and the cave inside is where the worms live. As it was getting dark, the top of the cave shone beautifully and looked very beautiful. In addition, you must do some preparations when you visit, there are no residential houses around, and the roads are all in the forest, which is relatively dark.Natural Bridge · 629m from downtown

This is a must-visit in the Gold Coast area of Brisbane. My favorite attractions are: Twin Falls, Rainbow Falls, Qinquan Falls, Natural Bridge. These places are very beautiful during the day, but they are a million times more beautiful at night. There are many fireflies on the forest road and in the cave... Just think, in New Zealand, you have to spend 50 New Zealand dollars to see the fireflies in the cave, but here it is free!!! An absolutely amazing place!!!

Paradise Farm is a treasure trove for experiencing the Australian countryside! As soon as you enter the farm, you can smell the natural scent of hay and soil. The fluffy sheep, cute kangaroos and emus are wandering on the grass, which is very immersive. The most important thing you can't miss is the wool shearing performance! The farm workers skillfully "transform" the sheep. After the fluffy thick hair is shed, the sheep instantly becomes "skinny". You can also touch the wool on the spot, which is soft and healing. There is also a sheepdog show, where the dogs flexibly shuttle among the sheep, which is super smart! By the way, you can also feed the kangaroos by hand. They look super cute holding the feed bags. Remember to touch their backs gently. There is also a traditional Billy Tea brewing performance in the farm. Tea is boiled on the campfire with a tin kettle and paired with Australian toast. One bite is the authentic country taste. If you want to take photos, put on the cowboy clothes provided by the farm, stand in front of the red barn, and take photos that look like a western movie in minutes. It is a great place to immerse yourself in the Australian farming and pastoral life.

We did not see the waterfall. As we were walking down to the waterfall, my wife tripped over a small bump in the path. She landed on her face on the concrete path. She had minor scrapes on her hands and knees, but her head hit the ground, knocking out a tooth, breaking her mouth, and hitting her forehead/left eye, both of which were severely bruised. The "step" must have been dangerous before, as it had been painted with a light yellow paint (probably long ago). My wife was very upset and took an ambulance to Pindara Hospital for X-rays. Fortunately no bones were broken, but she had a few loose teeth and we had to go to the dentist to adjust the area of the broken/broken teeth and prepare for implants. This incident seriously affected our holiday on the Gold Coast. I have attached a few photos of the step so that whoever manages the waterfall can take some measures to reduce the possibility of further accidents.

The rides and attractions are good. However, most of the rides got only one staff operating the process. Even though not many people were queuing (maybe around 30), we had to wait for at least 30 mins or more. Therefore we didn’t have enough time to play.
