I’ve been to Mekong River through Vietnam once. But this time, Mekong River is connected to Tonle Sap which it makes a wonderful experience. I’ve always wanted to go to Tonle Sap because I learnt about their history way back then in secondary school. The tour boat costs 100USdollar for the whole boat! There are only 6 of us there. If you want to try experiencing Tonle Sap, you can try Sok Chamroeun Tour Boat. Highly recommended!

The Independence Monument (Vimean Ekareach) is an iconic 20-meter tall reddish-brown sandstone tower located in the heart of Phnom Penh. Wat Phnom is a landmark building in Phnom Penh and a place where locals pray. At the entrance of the temple, there is the same strong smell of incense smoke and the same devout believers kneeling in worship. What is different from the scenery in China is that there are vendors selling lotus flowers for worship. Clusters of beautiful lotus flowers are about to bloom.

The Silver Temple, also known as the Silver Pavilion, was built between 1892 and 1920. It was rebuilt in 1962 based on Cambodian traditional architecture. The floor is paved with 5,329 silver bricks weighing 1.125 kilograms each, weighing a total of 5 tons, so it is called the Silver Pavilion. In addition, there are hundreds of national treasures in the temple, so it is also called the Golden and Silver Pavilion. Because the temple enshrines the Jade Buddha, it is also called the Jade Buddha Temple. In the center of the temple, there is a Buddha statue made of 18k gold, weighing 90kg. The Buddha is inlaid with 9,584 diamonds. The largest one is inlaid on the chest of the Buddha, weighing 25 carats. This Buddha statue was built to commemorate King Sisowath.

Pay respects to the most loved King Sihanouk of Cambodia. Tourists and locals frequent this statue to rever him. The surrounding park hosts a lot of sporting activities and is popular for runners and those meeting steps. South East Asia games banners are prominently displayed for selfies and groupies.

If you ask me where is the most luxurious and high-end shopping mall in Phnom Penh, Naga is one, and the Vattanac Capital tower I'm talking about today is the second one. When I walked in, I was surprised again. There were not many customers in the huge mall, but the lights were bright, and the waiters were dressed neatly. I walked around for a long time, not because I like shopping, but because it's really cool inside. If you come to Phnom Penh Railway Station, you can go to the opposite side to take a look at this mall.
