Stretching over 2,000 km along the northeastern coast of Australia, the Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest coral reef system. Comprising hundreds of coral islands of all sizes, it is a riot of color and boundless beauty, and its heart-shaped coral island has become the iconic attraction of the Great Barrier Reef. 1. Attraction overview The Great Barrier Reef is home to a vast coral kingdom and countless marine creatures, as well as deep underwater cliffs, tunnels, and caves. Whether you take a helicopter to view the coral groups from above or dive deep into the sea, you can truly feel the masterful craftsmanship of nature. When visiting the Great Barrier Reef, you can sign up for diving or semi-submersible vessels to explore the underwater world. Of course, if you want to experience sailing out to sea, you can rent various boats (from high-speed speedboats to catamaran yachts) to ride the wind and waves. You can also take a cruise, choosing according to your time and preferences. For a more flexible sea experience, you can take a speedboat. Additionally, taking a helicopter to overlook the Great Barrier Reef is also one of the must-do experiences here, viewing the world-famous Heart Reef from above (Heart Reef); take a hot air balloon ride overAtherton Tableland, experiencing both the sky and the sea once is not enough! 2. The location is easy to find, and the service is excellent. The onboard buffet is good, we took the glass-bottom boat twice, the Great Barrier Reef is stunning, the snorkeling experience was pleasant, and the kids had a great time.

This place is amazing the koalas are so cute and all the fascinating animals catch my eye the sound of the amazing trees rang in the forest as my mind filled with wonder. Zont is the biggest croc there and the boat ride made me shacked and the show for the crocs was fantastic. The most amazing part is the six metre snake named psycho Sally it was massive in its enclosure and made us look small. All the snakes were amazing and the cassowary was so colourful the koalas are so cool and their grey fur looks like a toy. The baby croc you can take a photo with is so cool and is so special to me as it is a true place of wonders. The scenic Forest made me feel like I was living in the wilderness and it made me feel like it was my permanent home. One of the best parts is when you can feed the cassowary and koalas it makes me feel caring and they are so cute to pet. The snake show was so cool as I learned lots of new things and I think that snakes are now so fascinating instead of scary.

Port Douglas is a small destination in area only. The Port itself is not that big but provides a vast array of accomodation that would satisfy any budget. Port Douglas is out of the hustle and bustle of the main city of Cairns, but provides all amenities.Indeed, it can accomodate that intimate, quiet time out you have been craving for - or deliver an action packed, adrenalin filled holiday thrill seekers are looking for. Anything in between is catered for as well.We stayed during October, apparently reknowned for its winds. And yes, it was windy, but warm.We went to the Habitat and spent nearly a day eventhough we were Aussies and familiar with a lot of the wildlife it was still an intimate exposure to them and very interesting. We did the touristy thing and went out to the reef - hubby did 3 dives and I snorkelled. The Poseidon catered for each of our needs and gave good individual service. I would have been more nervous with a bigger operator. Our Rainforest tour with Tony's Tours was just great. Only 6 people so we heard everything and never felt like cattle being rustled through. Questions were answered and a lot of information and history was passed on. Loved eating at Port Douglas - (hey, I love eating anywhere!) which probably makes me a conossoir right!?You have to go to the Combined Services Club - as quoted 'million dollar views and nothing over $20.00.'The yacht club is pretty good too. But don't go past the good old pub in the middle of the main drag which served up the best steak and for the cheapest price. That's where the locals still go to eat.Our accomodation was great. We stayed at Freestyle where our hosts were just spot on with local knowledge without being obtrusive at all. Our unit was great and reasonably priced. And we knew that if we needed anything then Anne would be able to assist us.Port Douglas is warm - hot in summer - and you always need your sunscreen and hat!!!And always friendly and fun. Loved it!

It's a very beautiful canyon. The whole canyon is covered with lush trees. There are various ponds of different sizes. Many tourists come here to swim, but we think hiking is the best way.

The experience was very good. The animals in the park live in harmony with humans. Especially the various birds are very close to humans and will jump on people. Kangaroos will gather around people very friendly when they see people!
