This restaurant is really in the middle of the place (Cascina) on a roundabout 8 minutes drive from Pisa airport. It doesn't look much from the outside but is quite large inside, if a little lacking in style. There are two dining rooms, in one of which a large wood fire spit roaster burns. The restaurant seemed full of locals - usually a good sign. On arrival we were given a mouthwatering herbaceous fried corn. My pasta with garlic was unlike any similarly named pasta I've ever had but was delicious. My pork chop was juicy and tasty and I partnered with the rabbit and courgette, both fried. Portions were very generous. The wine was good and cheap.
Is it worth a visit? Definitely
