Benedictine

The white twin-towered Benedictine Abbey is a landmark building on the Tihany Peninsula in the Balaton region. Benedictine Abbey was built earlier in 1055, and only the cellar part has been preserved. In the 18th century, a Baroque church was rebuilt on the site. At the same time, there are also relevant documents on the approval of the establishment of the monastery, which are the written materials about the monastery recorded earlier in Hungarian. Lake Balaton
