Museo del Fin del Mundo is located in Ushuaia, the capital of the Tierra del Fuego province in Argentina. This coastal city, known as the end of the world, faces the Antarctic continent across the sea. The century-old building housing the main museum was originally opened as a branch of the National Bank of Argentina. It still retains the original bank vault, bulletproof vault door, and counters. Within walking distance, there is also a branch museum converted from the old Government House dating back to the late 19th century. The interior exhibition halls focus on the nature and culture of Tierra del Fuego. The ethnographic hall displays bone and stone harpoons and scrapers used by the Yaghan people, as well as replicas of canoes and woven baskets, telling the story of their thousands of years of hunting and fishing life. In a prominent position in the same hall is the figurehead of the British ship 'Duchess of Albany,' which was wrecked off the coast of Tierra del Fuego in 1893, and nearby you can see artifacts from the German cruise ship 'Monte Cervantes,' which sank in 1930. The natural history section brings together specimens of over 180 species of birds from Tierra del Fuego, arranged by habitats such as the sea, coast, and forest. Visitors can also hear corresponding bird call recordings, and there are also displays of marine mammal specimens such as sea lions and seals. There are also dedicated rooms for the stories of early missionaries and pioneers, as well as items made by former prison inmates.Ushuaia · 485m from downtown

Tierra del Fuego National Park is amazing! As the southernmost national park in the world, it has snow-capped mountains all year round, dense forests, clear lakes and charming bays. Take the End of the World Train, travel through the picturesque scenery, and send postcards at the End of the World Post Office. The unique experience makes people feel like they are in a dreamland. It is a place worth visiting once in a lifetime.

Moving forward, you'll find a lake and the endless horizon. Here, you won't feel like you're at the end of your rope, but rather a vast expanse filled with reverie. The world's southernmost post office, located on the Argentinian coast of the Beagle Channel, was reportedly founded by the former director of the city's tourism bureau after his retirement. It primarily provides tourists with commemorative polar postal services. The 10-square-meter room is filled with a dazzling array of postal products, and the elderly man is a distinguished presence. In front of the house is a red mailbox where you can fill out postcards and send them around the world.

The Egrejes Lighthouse is a century-old lighthouse in Ushuaia. It is also the southernmost lighthouse on Earth and is known as the lighthouse at the end of the world. Although it is only a symbolic meaning, you must go and see it for the sake of the end of the world.

Here are the steep "End of the World" cliffs and Baker Falls. When you walk to the edge of the cliff at the top of the mountain, it feels like you have reached the end of the world, hence the name.

From Buenos Aires, Argentina, we flew 3,000 kilometers to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in South America, known as the end of the world. Martin Street is the main business district there. It can be used to replenish supplies.

Tierra del Fuego National Park in Ushuaia has the southernmost railway station in the world. On both sides of the railway are lush primeval forests and towering old trees. The low temperature and humid fog all year round make some tree trunks covered with thick moss. In the distance, there is melting snow on the rolling mountain tops, and the forest grassland at the foot of the mountain has begun to turn yellow. The valley river meanders through the scenery. It is stunningly beautiful, a perfect autumn scenery. Going deeper, you can occasionally see some huge tree stumps with roots deep in the mud, which are the remains of prisoners cutting down trees back then.
