Uwajima Castle
Uwajima Castle is a castle in Uwajima City, Ehime Prefecture, Japan. It is also known as Crane Island City and Maruchuan City. It is a National Historic Site of Japan. History and culture: The original construction year is unknown, but it has been recorded since the fourth year of Tianqing (941). In the first year of Qingchang (1596), Tengtang Gaohu built a large-scale construction when he was enfeoffed in the 70,000-stone territory. After the Sekihara War, Fujitang Gaohu transferred the title of Imabari Castle, and Tomita Shingao was entrusted.
