Things to do in Wulian

We spent the last half day of our trip to Rizhao at Jiuxian Mountain, which was surprisingly good. We experienced the full package of land, sea, and air transportation. If we hadn't been in a rush to get home in the afternoon, we definitely would have played in the water some more. We took the cable car at 10 a.m. and finished at 2:30 p.m.

This scenic spot is about 30 kilometers from Rizhao city. A Didi ride costs around 60 yuan. The mountain isn't high, and the cable car ride up and down is effortless. While the mountain itself isn't large, the scenery is beautiful and picturesque. There are three ways to ascend the mountain: East Gate, West Gate, and Guangming Cableway Station. From the East Gate, you can take a shuttle bus to the halfway point and then hike up. The West Gate connects to Jiuxian Mountain, so you can likely hike directly up. It's particularly important to note that if you're taking the cable car, be sure to navigate to the Guangming Cableway Station. The East Gate and the cableway station are about 5-6 kilometers apart. If you're not driving, going to the wrong place will be quite inconvenient. The scenic area's promotion in this regard is inadequate.

Daqing Mountain is located on the coast of the Yellow Sea in southeastern Shandong, 7 kilometers southwest of Wulian County. Surrounded by numerous peaks and gullies, it forms a famous scenic spot with an area of ​​20 square kilometers. Looking at the whole mountain, there are 36 peaks, 108 caves, 6 pools, 3 gorges, 9 valleys, 4 fields, 8 pings and more than 200 sceneries. It is famous in North China for its four characteristics of "beautiful, secluded, strange and vast". Furthermore, the relics such as the ancient garden cypress, Xiangyun Temple, Wanhe Temple, the ancient city wall and the folk legend of Emperor Gaozu of Han Dynasty, Liu Bang, riding a horse and throwing his crown, and stationing troops to march west, make it even more blurred and mysterious. Chen Yupeng, a famous scholar from Shanxi Province and a member of the Ministry of Rites in the Qing Dynasty, wrote a poem when he passed by Daqing Mountain: "The stone path is long and winding, and the horses are afraid of the morning wear. Wild flowers and vines are hard to climb.

Why is the rating so low? I went there in October this year and I liked it very much. Different from the food in other scenic spots, the food sold in most domestic scenic spots is either expensive or unpalatable, but the food in Bailu Bay is very good and the price is moderate! The scenery is like being in a foreign country, with a unique style! When I went there, I didn’t go to the autumn picking festival, coffee and trees, and the chocolate museum due to time constraints. I will make up for it next time! I still hope that the scenic spot will be well run. Such a quiet environment is rare! The only drawback is that there is not much scenery to see on the train tour, and the management is a bit chaotic, and there are too many queue cuts!

The round trip from Gate 1 to Gate 5 costs 69 yuan, and you can get on and off at each stop. Gate 3 has many popular check-in spots, and Gate 5 is best visited during low tide in the afternoon when the reefs are exposed.

I've finally made it to Mount Tai, a place I've always longed to visit. They say Mount Tai severs karmic ties and fosters positive ones; it's time to say goodbye to the people and things of the past. Now that I've bravely climbed the Eighteen Bends, does that mean my future will be smooth sailing? Mount Tai, thank you for fulfilling my wish. Kaiyuan Senbo Water Park is the top choice for family water fun! The indoor area is heated to avoid the sun, and it offers a variety of attractions including a children's water playground, wave pool, and lazy river, catering to both young and old. It gets crowded during peak season, with long queues for popular slides, and the park's food is relatively expensive. Lockers and towels are available for non-hotel guests at an extra cost, so it's recommended to arrive early to avoid peak hours. The safety staff are responsible, and overall the experience is excellent; definitely worth a visit for families with children.

There aren't many attractions, and the service is just average. The weather in Qingdao is still very hot, which negatively impacts the experience. It's not a very good option for family travel.

Rizhao Seaside Park is located in Rizhao City, Shandong Province. It is a scenic seaside leisure resort. The park is shaded by trees, the beach stretches, and the waves gently hit the shore, attracting many tourists to come and play. You can enjoy the sunrise in the morning and feel the sea breeze in the evening. The park also has walking trails, amusement facilities and an observation deck, which is suitable for family outings and walking and relaxing. The scenery here varies in each season, making it a good place for citizens and tourists to get close to nature.

Overall, the visit was excellent! The scenery is stunning, with breathtaking views at every turn, making for photogenic spots. The tour route is well-planned, with clear signage and a moderate walking difficulty. Rest areas and restrooms are readily available. It's recommended to avoid peak holiday seasons, as there will be far fewer people, allowing for a more leisurely and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!
