家人们，我刚从河南宝泉旅游度假区的观景台回来，真的太震撼了！站在观景台上，眼前的景色就跟画似的，连绵的青山，碧绿的湖水，还有那飞流而下的瀑布，感觉整个世界都变得开阔起来。尤其是那个玻璃观景台，往下一看，我的腿都软了，但风景是真的绝，随便一拍都能当壁纸！宝泉这一趟真没白来，推荐你们也来感受感受！

Beautiful scenery, pleasant climate, convenient transportation, a good place for tourism

Jiulian Mountain Tourist Area, a national 4A-level scenic area and the essence of the Southern Taihang Mountains, is named for its nine peaks resembling lotus flowers and is also known as "Little Western Paradise." It is adjacent to Baligou Valley. Address: Songshuping Village, Shangbali Town, Huixian City, Xinxiang City, Henan Province History and Landform: Typical Southern Taihang canyon + red rock cliffs, with nine peaks connected like a lotus flower; includes Xilian Gorge, Guanhou Grand Canyon, and Hongyan Grand Canyon; Xilian Temple, Donglian Temple, and Houjing Palace coexist Buddhist and Taoist sites, with rich folk beliefs; a 999-step sky ladder and a cliffside sightseeing elevator coexist. Positioning: Mountain and water sightseeing + folk beliefs + hiking adventure; best viewed in summer when water volume is high and waterfalls are spectacular. Must-Visit Attractions: 1. Xilian Gorge & Tianhu Waterfall: Deep valleys and interconnected pools; Tianhu Waterfall boasts a large drop and a thunderous roar; Jiulian Pool has crystal-clear water, perfect for photos. 2. 999-Step Heavenly Ladder & Sightseeing Elevator: The Heavenly Ladder winds along the cliff face, a physical challenge; the elevator costs 30 yuan one way/50 yuan round trip, ideal for those who prefer a less strenuous experience; reaching the top leads directly to Jiulian Terrace. 3. Xilian Temple (Xiaoxitian): A cluster of ancient temples on a cliff, popular with worshippers, offering panoramic views of the lotus-shaped peaks; exhibits related to folk beliefs are also available. 4. Xiaoxitian Folk Custom Area: Donglian Temple and Houjing Palace, with over 40 halls, a rare concentration of female folk deities in northern China. 5. Guanhou Grand Canyon: A pristine canyon inhabited by macaques, ideal for hiking and outdoor photography. Suggested Itineraries: 1. Lazy Person's Route: Entrance → Sightseeing Bus → Xilian Gorge → Tianhu Waterfall → Elevator to Jiulian Terrace → Xilian Temple → Plank Road → Return Trip 2. Hiking Route: Entrance → Xilian Gorge → Jiulian Pool → Climb the 999-meter Ladder → Jiulian Terrace → Xilian Temple → Guanhougou → Exit the Scenic Area 3. Best Time to Visit: 9-11 AM for optimal lighting and photography; also beautiful in summer for escaping the heat and in autumn for viewing the red leaves.

The Baoshang Road Viewpoint, located in Huixian County, Xinxiang, Henan Province, is a superb vantage point on the Southern Taihang Mountains self-driving route, offering panoramic views of the Baoquan Scenic Area and magnificent canyon scenery. Its beautiful scenery and free admission make it a favorite among self-driving enthusiasts and photographers. Several viewpoints are located along the Baoshang Road, but their current status varies. Please check before your trip: Baoquan Viewpoint/Ganyangzhan Viewpoint: These two well-known viewpoints are currently closed and inaccessible. Please do not navigate directly there to avoid disappointment. Recommended (Shuanglong Waterfall Viewpoint): This is currently the only remaining unclosed viewpoint along the Baoshang Road. It is recommended to navigate directly to "Shuangquan'ao," where there is roadside parking. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Shuanglong Waterfall and the reservoir, offering a wide and unobstructed vista. Key Highlights: A Bird's-Eye View: Standing on the viewpoint, below you lies the crystal-clear green Baoquan Reservoir and the winding mountain road. Houses nestled deep in the canyon are faintly visible, creating a sense of both awe and beauty. Summer Retreat: The cool breezes of the mountains in summer make it a perfect escape from the city's heat and stress. Nearby Itineraries: A day trip can be planned by combining it with visits to Wujiawan and Heimaogou Grand Canyon for a more comprehensive itinerary.

The hot springs are very comfortable and the service is thoughtful

There is the Eighth Route Army Anti-Japanese War Memorial at the entrance of the scenic service hall, remembering history and commemorating the martyrs! You can drive up the mountain in the scenic area. There may be a peak season for water. When I went there, there was not much water, and I didn’t see the waterfall!

Wulongshan Zoo was a fantastic experience. The diverse animal species and clean environment lived up to the hype. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the directions were clear. It's a great value, conveniently located, and a must-see for family and friends.

During holidays, I avoided the crowds and came to Huixian Baiquan Scenic Area. The scenery is beautiful and the springs are smaller than before. The scenic area does not cover a large area and can be visited in 1 hour. You can row a boat and feed fish in the scenic area, but the ancient monuments are closed for renovation, which is suitable for Buddhist tours. It is recommended to drive from Xihua Gate, which is easy to park.

Overall, it was a lot of fun, exciting, and great. However, even after we reached our destination, we were still floating in the water when I saw a glob of phlegm in the water. That instantly killed my appetite; it was disgusting!
