Things to do in Zhijin

It's absolutely spectacular. It takes over an hour to walk through; it's quite dark inside, with ups and downs. Elderly people with mobility issues or poor eyesight should be cautious, as should those with claustrophobia. Of course, people with high blood pressure or heart conditions should also be careful. You should see it at least once in your life; the stalactites are of various shapes and are breathtakingly beautiful – definitely worth seeing.

For families with children visiting Zhijin, the 5A-rated Zhijin Cave is highly recommended. It's a natural water-eroded cave with a temperature around 10 degrees Celsius! The stalactites and stalagmites inside are incredibly diverse and will spark your imagination! The various gorge entrances and boat rides within the cave are unique features. It will leave you in awe of nature's artistry! Arriving at the scenic area at 9 am meant there were no parking spaces left, so we opted for the 10 yuan parking lot at the Grand Canyon exit. From the exit, we took a 108-meter-high ladder down, followed by a relatively easy walk down the mountain path. Along the way, we saw natural bridges, waterfalls, and Buddha statues – a truly breathtaking experience. We entered the "Ten Thousand Swallows Returning to Their Nest" area, took a 10 yuan boat ride to the other side, and then took a sightseeing bus back to the entrance. A free shuttle bus from the entrance took us to the visitor center. After getting off, we transferred back to our car at the exit for lunch. At 1 pm, we took another shuttle bus to Zhijin Cave, taking photos with the various stalactites and stalagmites along the way. The visit took about two hours. Overall, the pace was from easy to difficult, making it a manageable trip for children! (＾в＾)

The Wujiang River Source Hundred-Mile Gallery is truly a stunning natural wonder! A boat trip along the emerald green river, flanked by towering peaks and rugged mountains, feels like stepping into a flowing landscape painting. The crystal-clear water reflects the blue sky, white clouds, and layered karst landforms, making every snapshot a masterpiece. Along the way, you'll see Miao villages and cliffside walkways, adding a touch of cultural charm and adventure. The boat trip is at a moderate pace, lasting approximately 2-3 hours, so you won't feel tired. It's recommended to go on a sunny day when the sunlight sparkles on the river, creating a more breathtaking visual experience. The scenic area's services are quite comprehensive, with clear dock signage and orderly boarding and disembarking. The only minor drawback is that the surrounding facilities are still under development, and there aren't many dining options. It's advisable to bring your own snacks and water. Overall, this is an excellent place to escape the crowds and experience the tranquil beauty of nature, well worth a visit! Highly recommended for those who enjoy natural scenery and photography.

Located in Zhijin County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, it is named after the ancient name of Zhijin, "Pingyuan". The ancient town is seamlessly connected to the ancient city of Zhijin, with Wuzhi Mountain Peak Forest in the east, Chiwang Expressway in the south, Shuangtan in the west, and Yushan in the north. Zhijin has a long history of primitive people living in the Neolithic and Paleolithic Ages.

Before I came here, I was quite yearning for the Zhijin Ancient City, but after arriving, I found that there were basically no ancient things left here. Except for the national treasure, the Temple of the God of Wealth, which we longed for, all the others were newly built. So this place is called an ancient city, and many people may confuse it with the Pingyuan Ancient Town not far away.

Zhijin Cave is a natural wonder with great charm. It is large in scale: the cave is 6.6 kilometers long, and there are stalagmites, stone pillars, stone buds, and stone peaks in various shapes and forms. The cave is crisscrossed and winding, and the stone peaks are scattered all over. The silver rain tree, the king's helmet, the upside-down pipa, the large murals, the sister jade tree and other landscapes are vivid and wonderful, which makes people dazzled and breathtaking. The temperature in the cave is relatively low, so you can bring a coat with you when you enter the cave. The entire cave is a one-way tour route, and you must walk the entire way once you enter the cave.

It is still very good. The Ningxia Geological Museum was planned and built in 2008. It took four years to build. It is a thematic museum that reflects the natural geological history and style of Ningxia. The Ningxia Geological Museum is open to the public. It is a collection center for rare geological and mineral specimens in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region; it is a learning base for popularizing geological and mineral knowledge and scientific and cultural quality education for young people; it is an auxiliary place for geological professionals to conduct related research; it is also an ideal place for the public to visit, appreciate, relax and entertain.
