M48***42A visit to the Zhili Governor-General's Office offers a glimpse into its rich historical heritage and unique architectural charm. Upon entering, the first thing that catches the eye is its antique-style exterior. As one of the best-preserved provincial government offices from the Qing Dynasty in China, its symmetrical and harmonious layout, with its enclosed spaces, reflects the feudal hierarchy. The main buildings are arranged along a central axis, with a solemn and orderly layout of the front court and rear residences. The main gate, ceremonial gate, and main hall are arranged in sequence, exuding an aura of authority. Inside the main hall, items such as official desks and command arrows are displayed, allowing visitors to almost imagine the scene of the Governor-General handling state affairs here.

M27***85Baishi Mountain truly lives up to its name as the "Head of Taihang Mountains"—the scenery is absolutely stunning! This time, I even saw snow. We were lucky enough to catch a promotion at the scenic area with great discounts on tickets and cable cars. We took the cable car from the East Gate round trip, ascending from Jiucaiyuan Square to Foguang Peak, then descending back down the middle route. Climbing to the top of Taihang Mountains, we had a breathtaking panoramic view of all the surrounding peaks! 👍👍👍

Anonymous userExcellent! The room size, decor, and amenities are comparable to Atlantis. The location is in the heart of the peninsula. The service, cleanliness, facilities, and linens are all excellent. Highly recommended! I'll definitely choose Yue Shan next time I visit the peninsula!

鎏菽Before I came here, I thought it was just a check-in. After entering the park and looking around, I was surprised. There are so many things to see in the park. It's very interesting to take a picture of the guide map and follow the map.

_cm***17Visit the Tai Mausoleum in the Western Qing Tombs in Baoding. The Tai Mausoleum is the burial site of Emperor Yongzheng and the principal mausoleum of the Western Tombs. Built between 1730 and 1736, it houses the emperor, Empress Xiaojingxian, and Imperial Noble Consort Dunsu. It exemplifies the imperial mausoleums of the Qing Dynasty, incorporating traditional feng shui principles, Confucian rituals, and exquisite architectural craftsmanship, embodying the supremacy of imperial power and the Confucian hierarchy. Located at the foot of Yongning Mountain in Yi County, the mausoleum is nestled between the Yongning Mountain to the north and the Yishui River to the south. Surrounded by the Nine Dragon and Nine Phoenix Mountains, it forms a feng shui formation characterized by "a place where heaven and earth gather and yin and yang converge." The Chang Mausoleum of the Jiaqing Emperor is closed due to renovations and is represented by stone statues along its sacred path.

7QAZOStepping into Baiyangdian, it's like entering a water town dream forgotten by time. The sun shines on the water, sparkling, and the reeds in the distance are like a green ocean. The breeze blows, and the reeds rustle, playing the music of nature. Sitting in a small boat and shuttling through it, you can see small fish and shrimps swimming in the clear lake water, and occasionally startle one or two water birds, flapping their wings and flying away. Every bay and every lotus leaf here is full of poetry, which makes people intoxicated. The most unforgettable thing is the experience of going to Yedian. I contacted the boss in advance, and the boatman he arranged was enthusiastic and practical. Not only did he take us to appreciate the most beautiful scenery, but he also helped the children pick the lotus pods they had been thinking about. Lunch was at a local restaurant that had been open for 19 years, and we tasted the special food of Baiyangdian. The crayfish was tasty, and the lotus leaf egg pancakes were also unique. Baiyangdian, without the hustle and bustle of the city, gave me a feast for the soul with its simple water village scenery, allowing me to truly feel the gentleness and beauty of nature.

Anonymous userThe Huai Army Headquarters blends the architectural styles of Huizhou and Northern China. The front courtyard features Huizhou-style architecture with imposing, towering gable walls; the rear courtyard is a lower, more rustic Northern-style courtyard. The wood, brick, and stone carvings are exquisite, each a work of art, embodying the ideal of "three beautiful carvings in one building." Its grand opera stage is said to be the largest existing Qing Dynasty enclosed opera stage in China. The stage's coffered ceiling is constructed from 3,800 wooden components joined by mortise and tenon joints, showcasing superb craftsmanship. Not only is its design beautiful, but it also effectively gathers sound and amplifies it to every corner of the stage. Its architectural sophistication and acoustic ingenuity are truly breathtaking.
