The cable car's middle station leads directly to the waterfall group, and the downhill road is well-maintained; it's about a half-hour walk to the scenic area's bus stop. You can take the scenic area bus to Baima Grand Canyon and then walk downhill for about 1.5 hours, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. The ticket allows for two entries; those with good stamina can enter the park a second day to climb the main peak.

Anonymous userThe water at Wanfo Lake is quite clean, much better than the stinking ditches in the city. I went last autumn; the wind blowing by the lake made my hair stick to my face, but the air was filled with the fragrance of osmanthus, so it wasn't unpleasant. Taking the boat was the most annoying part; the engine's "clattering" was incredibly noisy. However, when the boatman suddenly turned off the engine, the entire lake surface became like a mirror, reflecting the mountains, and everyone immediately became afraid to speak, lest they break something. The temple on the island where you burn incense can be explored in five minutes. There was an old lady selling grilled small fish, freshly caught and sprinkled with chili powder—crispy and delicious! Three fish for ten yuan, and your fingers smelled wonderful afterward. The worst part was the entrance fee plus the boat ticket, over two hundred yuan—ouch! But on the way back, I saw some city kids picking up flat stones on the beach and skipping them, laughing like fools. Suddenly, I felt the money wasn't entirely wasted. It's just a lake, go if you want, don't expect anything amazing, but it won't be a wasted trip.
