Anonymous userLaojun Mountain, located in Luanchuan County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, is the main peak of the Funiu Mountains. Legend has it that it was the place where Laozi, the founder of Taoism, retreated and cultivated himself. It is now a national 5A-level scenic area. It boasts beautiful scenery in all four seasons, each with its own unique characteristics. Spring: Wildflowers bloom in profusion, and streams begin to thaw; Summer: A summer resort with over 90% green coverage; Autumn: Red leaves blanket the mountains, creating a breathtaking tapestry of colors (best viewed in October); Winter: Frost and ice formations create a fairyland-like atmosphere (December-February).

M88***57The main attraction was Laojun Mountain, but we stopped by this 5A scenic area as a side trip. The unexpected surprise came mainly from the handsome guide. The caves are naturally formed. Their shapes and interesting features were all thanks to the guide's explanations. He was knowledgeable, articulate, patient, and interactive with the visitors, making for a pleasant journey.

AntonywjwIt's incredibly far, 140 kilometers from Dennis David World in Luoyang. The zoo is also incredibly large. From the sign for Luanchuan Bamboo Sea Wildlife Park to the actual zoo itself, it's still 8 kilometers. The forecourt is incredibly large. You absolutely have to take the cable car for the entire tour, and there's no reason to refuse. Without it, you won't be able to reach many spots and see the animals.
