LIMUHA diversified town themed around pottery culture, integrating ecological nature and traditional culture. Designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma, the town's overall style is a perfect blend of modern minimalism and the ink-wash painting aesthetics of Jiangnan, brimming with Zen and artistic flair. Admission: 60 RMB per adult. The entire town is themed around antique architecture, Republican-era style, and pottery culture, integrating natural and cultural elements of Yixing such as mountains, water, pottery, bamboo, and tea. Small bridges over flowing water, gray bricks and tiles, and staggered horse-head walls create a picturesque scene at every turn, reminiscent of an ancient Jiangnan town. It features historical sites such as ancient streets, bridges, and alleys, as well as cultural venues like the Ceramics Museum and the Purple Clay Pottery Museum. During the day, visitors can stroll through the town, exploring the Dragon Kiln and Kiln Site Exhibition Hall, the Lu Xiang-sheng Exhibition Hall, Chunxi Embroidery and Textile Workshop, the Jiangnan Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, the Fenshuidun Folk Museum, the Zisha (purple clay) Lecture Hall, the Jiang Family Ancestral Hall, the Zisha Market, pawnshops, sauce workshops, Dongpo Thatched Cottage, and the riverside wetlands, experiencing its rich historical and cultural heritage. In the evening, visitors can take a ride on the "Cloud Train" (30 yuan per person), which runs clockwise around the town, traversing elevated roads, tunnels, valleys, bamboo forests, and tea fields to experience its charm. During the night tour, fireworks illuminate the sky above the town, creating a dazzling display of light and shadow on the water. Visitors can enjoy unique dragon-shaped water shows, fireworks displays, bonfire livehouse performances, drone shows, and more. In addition, there are acrobatics, fire dances, bonfires, intangible cultural heritage fire kettle performances, and band performances, allowing visitors to fully experience the town's charm. Many special activities (such as pottery and tea ceremonies) require additional fees and are quite expensive. Food prices are also not cheap.

M23***53This was my first visit to Yixing. From the Yixing City Museum, I took bus 246 to the China Yixing Ceramics Museum, a national second-level museum. The exhibits inside were all very beautiful, especially the ceramic and purple clay products—many exquisite pieces.
