320***81The tour includes guided commentary and visits to three scenic spots. The entire trip lasts five hours. Meals are at your own expense at a designated restaurant. Hygiene is average, but the food is acceptable. The scenery of the lake and mountains is beautiful.

Anonymous userIt's a fully commercialized ancient town nestled in the mountains and waters. There are many ancient banyan trees, and the earthen buildings are just so-so. If you haven't seen them before, it's worth a visit; they're wooden structures. If you want to go upstairs, the local residents will charge you 5 yuan per person.

320***83Staying in a traditional earthen building with modern facilities, it's comfortable, pleasant, and elegant. The butler provides attentive one-on-one service, always ready to assist. It's a rural tourism experience that meets modern five-star service standards. I would definitely recommend it to friends!

花过鱼While visiting Yuchang Building, I quite enjoyed the winding village paths that allowed me to fully appreciate the scenery of Zhangzhou villages. I especially noticed the many withered banana trees; I imagine it must look quite different when the bananas are ripe. There were many vendors selling oranges and tangerines along the way, but avoid the wrinkled ones – they won't taste good. For the same price, buy the common Wogan tangerines; they're sweeter here than anywhere else! Yuchang Building is a rather unique earthen building because each floor is different. The supporting pillars of its corridors are all crooked, in a regular pattern. If odd-numbered floors all lean to the right, then even-numbered floors all lean to the left, hence the name "East-Leaning, West-Sloping Building." It can be a bit dizzying to look at, but the structure is actually quite stable. I also felt that the ancestral temple in the square of Yuchang Building was the most simple, without any major renovations, just its original, naturally weathered appearance. Of course, I noticed that I wasn't the only visitor; it seemed like everyone was experiencing aesthetic fatigue: fewer people were taking photos, the visit was rushed, and there was a greater desire to leave. ...When I recalled this, I noticed a photo with a sign saying "Free to Visit the Well." I must have remembered wrong; the kid spitting wasn't at Huaiyuan Tower, but at this Yuchang Tower...

M2b***xwThe ancient city of Zhangzhou is a city with a "river as the city and a bridge as the gate" and a street layout of "nine streets and thirteen alleys". Ancient sites such as the Temple of Confucius, the Temple of Martial Arts, and the Shangshu Tanhua Square carry a thousand-year cultural heritage, and every brick and tile tells a historical story.

布丁糯米饭团犟The scenery was truly beautiful, but climbing the mountain was exhausting. At an altitude of 600 meters, the actual distance I covered using my iWatch was 4 kilometers! 🤣 The closer you get to the summit, the steeper the path becomes, and there aren't many rest areas, so you need to keep going. If you're not very athletic, I recommend taking the shuttle bus at the entrance directly to the summit. It runs every half hour, and you can enjoy the scenery along the way. The ticket price is also reasonable at 15 yuan per person.

M81***17A fantastic puppet show! The variety of performances was impressive, the puppets displayed in the cabinets were incredibly lifelike, and the puppeteers' performances were superb. With the addition of dialect voiceovers and Mandarin subtitles, it was definitely worth seeing!

Anonymous userA great place for families, with three shows. The puppeteers performed with great care, and the children were engrossed. At the end, the puppeteers gave a teaching session, and the audience could try to control the puppets. The rooftop view at night is beautiful, and you can check it out.
