Brussels: 3 Places That Showed Me a Different Side

ā€œBrussels is easy to associate with Grand Place, chocolate shops, and Art Nouveau buildings, but I found a more interesting side when I wandered without following the usual route.ā€@Rani Mamahit Ā· 28 days ago

Fun, interactive, family-friendly, and one of the best attractions in Brussels for both kids and adults.
We visited Mini-Europe during our trip to Brussels and had a fantastic time. It is located right next to the Atomium, making it very easy to visit both attractions on the same day.

My son, who is almost 14 years old, absolutely loved it. He was especially excited by all the moving features throughout the park. The boats, airplanes, and especially the trains were a huge hit for him. The trains were definitely his favorite attraction, and he spent a lot of time watching them travel through the miniature landscapes.

The park itself is beautifully designed, with impressive miniature versions of famous European landmarks and monuments. The level of detail is remarkable, and it is fascinating to see so many iconic buildings from across Europe gathered in one place. It is both entertaining and educational, making it a great experience for visitors of all ages.

What impressed me most was how enjoyable it was not only for children but also for adults. There is always something interesting to discover, whether it is a famous monument, a moving model, or one of the interactive exhibits.

We paid €35 per adult, and the ticket included access to both Mini-Europe and the Atomium, which made it excellent value for money.

We visited on a very hot day, and it was nice to find a refreshment stand inside the park where visitors could buy cold drinks. It was a small detail, but it made the visit even more comfortable.

Overall, Mini-Europe exceeded our expectations. It is fun, educational, beautifully maintained, and perfect for families. If you are visiting Brussels, I highly recommend combining it with a visit to the Atomium. Both attractions are well worth your time and make for a memorable day out.
