Days in Kos – A Perfect Little Escape ✨

Day 1 – Exploring Kos City Center
We kicked things off in the heart of Kos Town, and wow – what a gem! Cobbled streets, whitewashed corners, little bursts of bougainvillea everywhere. We stopped for lunch at Patriko, a cozy spot with delicious, authentic Greek food (think melt-in-your-mouth moussaka and local flavors you can’t find anywhere else).

Day 2 – Sun, Sea & Relaxation
A beach-day dream! We first hit Paradise Beach with its soft sand and turquoise waters – exactly as heavenly as the name suggests. Later, we soaked in the warm natural springs at Therma Beach, surrounded by rugged rocks and salty sea air. The perfect combo of relaxation and adventure.

Day 3 – A Dash of Culture & Sweet Treats
We spent the morning at the Archaeological Museum, where history lovers (like us!) can wander through ancient artifacts and imagine life back in the days of Hippocrates. To wrap things up, we indulged in creamy gelato under the stars – the sweetest ending to our little island getaway.

šŸØ Stay: Sails on Kos – super comfortable, with a touch of rustic charm and modern comfort.
šŸ“ Foodie Favorites: The Chasapaki (fresh meat), Barbouni (seaside dining), H2O (great vibe, right by the water), and of course, Patriko (greek taverna).
šŸ“Œ Tips: Wear comfy shoes – you’ll want to stroll everywhere in the city center. Don’t miss the local boutiques – the clothes and shoes are stylish and incredible quality. And best of all: Kos feels wonderfully safe, even for solo travelers.

Telendos, Greece; The unknown Instagram friendly Island

ā€œThis small unknown island is found in the south eastern Aegean Sea.It is only 15 kilometers from Kos Island in the area the Greeks call the Dodecanese Islands.ā€@Heidis weekend Ā· 2 months ago
I ended up spending some time in Mastichari during my trip to Kos, and honestly… I didn’t expect to like it this much. It’s one of those places that feels super calm the moment you arrive — long beach, soft wind, and that quiet vibe that makes you slow down without trying.

We walked along the shore, grabbed a coffee, and just watched the waves for a bit. Nothing complicated, just peaceful.

As the day went on, the place got even better. The sunset here is crazy — the sky goes full orange over the Aegean, and all the tavernas start putting out food that smells too good. Fresh fish right by the sea hits different.

If you’re on Kos and want a break from the busy spots, Mastichari is honestly perfect for a few hours or even a whole day. Super easy to get to, and the port makes it a nice base if you’re thinking about hopping over to Kalymnos.

Quiet, breezy, friendly — that’s pretty much Mastichari. Would definitely go back.#travel #mastichari #couplestrip
