Renfe Spanish Large Families Fare

Renfe offers discounted fares for large families in Spain, providing a 20% reduction for general category families and 50% for special category families on most services, including AVE and Larga Distancia trains. These discounts exclude AVE International, Avant, and Cercanías services. Single-parent families can also access discounts on Rodalies trains in Catalonia with a valid certificate from the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Renfe Children Fare

Children aged 4 to 13 receive a 40% discount on ticket fares with Renfe. They are entitled to choose seats on AVE, AVE International, and Avant trains, and can make changes or get refunds based on the ticket type, potentially incurring a fee.
