The British Lake District National Park is the largest national park in the UK and one of the few mountainous areas in the UK. All places in England above 3000 feet above sea level are located in this national park. In 2017, the British Lake District National Park was included in the World Natural Heritage. The English Lake District National Park is a particularly beautiful part of England, with majestic peaks and sparkling lakes, as well as many hiking and climbing routes, as well as a wealth of tourist attractions and indoor and outdoor activities. A major feature of the park is the lakes and mountains carved by glacial erosion. The mountains are especially famous for the Lakeland Fells, which although not high above sea level, provide us with a large number of challenging mountain hiking routes. There are 16 lakes in the park, including the deeper lake in England - Lake Worcester and the larger natural lake - Lake Windermere.
