Atlanta Botanical Garden Photos
The Atlanta Botanical Garden covers an area of 12 hectares and is located in the downtown area of Atlanta, adjacent to Piedmont Park. The Botanical Garden was officially incorporated into the City of Atlanta in 1976 and was established to “cultivate and collect plants for the purposes of display, education, conservation, research and entertainment”. In 1985, the Atlanta Botanical Garden built its first permanent display ——Garden House. A children's garden was built in 1999. After the Fuqua Conservatory was built in 1989, the Fuqua Orchid Center was added in 2002. Since the summer of 2003, there are also some temporary exhibitions here every year, and the temporary exhibitions are more extensive and more fascinating.
