Sariska National Park, a tiger reserve in Rajasthan, India, was declared a wildlife reserve in 1955. In 2004, it was reported that there were no tigers in the reserve. The Central Bureau of Investigation in India conducted a two-month investigation in 2005 and finally announced that there were no tigers in the protected area. On June 28, 2008, helicopters transferred male tigers into the air for the first time to Sariska. By 2010, five tigers (two males and three females) had been relocated to the reserve. But in November 2010, the first tigers to migrate died of poisoning. Unfortunately, the first three were from the same father. Moreover, the first two females had the same mother.
