Picturesque but not much else
Set back from the hustle and bustle of the Sea front/Harbour, it's nice to visit for a few pictures & a drink at one of the nearby cafes. That's about it though!
You walk right past it on Lithrostroto and there is a square right across from it. It is the tallest structure along Lithrostroto. A defining landmark for Argostoli.

Arrived at 1430 on a Sunday and it appeared closed with no likelihood of opening. The gates are closed and a poster across both of them so doesn't look temporary.

Looks good
Never went to it but it has pride of place as you look along the Lithostroto.Oviously not used now but still a lovely feature.
