The National Costume Museum of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology is a museum of costumes and a cultural research institution integrating collection, display, scientific research and teaching. It is one of the best clothing museums in China. It collects more than 10,000 pieces of clothing, accessories, and fabrics of all ethnic groups in China, as well as nearly 1,000 pictures of the lives of the Yi, Tibetan and Qiang peoples in the 1930s. width. Textile, embroidery and batik national costumes in the weaving, dyeing and embroidery hall. The old photo gallery displays a batch of ethnic investigation pictures in the 1930s, which were taken by the famous ethnologist and photographer Mr. Zhuang Xueben. The photos taken by Mr. Zhuang are very rich in content, reflecting the actual situation of the Yi, Qiang and Tibetan nationalities in terms of social history, economy, religion, culture and living customs at that time. In the Miao costume hall, there are different styles from the fine and gorgeous Shidong Miao costumes to the primitive and rough Nandan Miao costumes. The Han Nationality Costume Hall displays the Han nationality's modern and modern costumes from different regions and different types. They constitute a beautiful landscape of this event, and also fully reflect the school's teaching purpose of "combining national costume culture with modern design concepts".
北京服装学院民族服饰博物馆位于北京服装学院内。2000年成立,是中国第一家服饰类专业博物馆,具有收藏、展示、科研、教学等多方面的功能。曾荣获“全国博物十大陈列精品——最佳制作奖”。博物馆面积2000平方米,设有少数民族服饰厅、汉族服饰厅、苗族服饰厅、金工首饰厅、织锦刺绣蜡染厅、奥运服饰厅、图片厅等七个展厅。
民族服饰博物馆是一个集收藏、研究和教学于一体的文化研究机构,位于北京服装学院综合大楼三层。这里的展品很有特色,大家来之前,一定要查好开馆和闭馆的时间。
