It sits north to south and faces the Qixingguan Bridge. Adjacent to the Jiangnan community of Pingshan Town, Hezhang County. Xia Yu was born in Yiyang County, Hunan Province in 1901, joined the Communist Party of China in October 1921, served as the secretary of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and was elected as a member of the Central Committee at the Fifth National Congress of the Communist Party of China. In February 1936, Xia Yu and He Long, Ren Yushi, Xiao Ke, Wang Zhen and other Red Er and Sixth Legion leaders marched through Guizhou Bijie, and on April 28, Xia Yu went west with the Red Er and Sixth Legion to the Qixing River to drown and sacrifice, at the age of 35. In 1985, in honor of the martyrs, the people's government of Bijie County (now Qixingguan District) allocated funds to build the Xiayi Comrade Monument. 🌟 Highlights: The Xiayi Comrade Monument is about 60 kilometers away from the center of Bijie, there is a highway to arrive, and the journey is about 1 hour.
