The one I can't forget is passing through Slovenia from Croatia on my way to Hungary; Slovenia is just too beautiful, completely unexpected. Visiting Lake Bled in Slovenia was captivating. 🌅 This beautiful lake is surrounded by the Julian Alps and is famous for its small island with a beautiful church in the center. 🏞️ I enjoyed exploring the stunning scenery around the lake. I took a boat trip to the island and visited the church, which added romance and tranquility to my trip. 🚣♀️ I had the famous 'Bled Cream Cake' dessert at one of the cafes overlooking the lake, and it was delicious. 🍰 The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, giving me a chance to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty. Visiting Lake Bled was a magical experience that combined natural beauty and relaxation. 🌟

Lake Bled is located about 55 kilometers from Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Croatia and Slovenia were both part of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. After the dissolution of Yugoslavia, these two small countries emerged, lying very close to each other. At 1 p.m., the plane left Dubrovnik for the Croatian capital of Zagreb. After a 45-minute flight, I immediately took the airport bus to the Zagreb long-distance bus station, then took a Flixbus to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, a journey of over 100 kilometers and more than two hours. After reaching Ljubljana, it took another hour by bus to reach today's destination, Lake Bled. This was the most circuitous part of the trip, and by the time I arrived at the Lake Bled guesthouse, it was already 8 p.m. It wasn't completely dark yet, and upon seeing the long-admired Lake Bled, I was instantly re-energized without a trace of fatigue.
