One can visit chilapata for observing the dense forest and the elefants, but beware of the lone tuskers while in masti, u ll have a different smell and then stop, don't proceed.
Best road to follow to cooch behar amidst the forest surrounded by nature. Good roads and scenery. If lucky you will see elephants crossing. Best time October to March. don't venture during rainy seas...
