We spent under an hour here and walked away with a better knowledge of Rabun County's history. The content is presented in an informative way that engages one and keeps their interest.
Walked in around 1:30pm Friday afternoon to look around and was quickly rushed out at 1:50pm by an very elderly curator! They close at 2pm on Friday! What!? Why would you want to stay open later then...
Interesting information on the history of Rabun County. The volunteers are very nice and helpful. Some family history books but limited historical records.
A welcoming visit to the Old South, with all the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Although a small museum, the enthusiasm of the curator and docent make each visit a personal experience. The arrangement of the memorabilia gives one an authentic view of life in this particular place...
